MARBELLA MOSQUE

Azan Marbella Mosque, Spain
King Abdul Aziz Mosque or Marbella Mosque (Spanish: Mezquita del rey Abdelaziz, Mezquita de Marbella) is an Islamic place of worship located in Marbella, Spain. It is financed by Saudi Arabia, and is named after their first monarch. It was built in 1981 and is one of the first Spanish mosques built in the modern time.[1]
Along with the Fuengirola Mosque and Malaga Mosque, the Marbella Mosque was financed with money from Saudi Arabia, and is therefore a part of the Salafi school of thought, a movement dominant in Saudi Arabia and marked by the correct following of Sharia. The construction was ordered by Prince Salman in honor of King Fahd, who was a frequenter of Marbella.[2]
The building architecture is an example of Andalusian-inspired contemporary Arabic architecture. Built by Córdoban architect Juan Mora, it holds over 800 people and consists of housing for the imam, library and gardens.

Hare Krishnas Inside a Muslim Mosque | Interreligious Prayer Meeting for Peace Marbella
We are disciples of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and we were invited to the Interreligious Prayer Meeting for Peace that took place on the 16th/December/2019 in Marbella, Spain inside the Mosque of the King Abdul Aziz Al-Saud.
We presented from the Krishna consciousness point of view how to achieve peace in the World and of course, we took inside the mosque our spiritual master.
This is a historic event in the history of the Hare Krishna movement as this is the first time some devotees preach inside a mosque and not only that they also recited the Maha Mantra Hare Krishna.
Let us over flood the whole world with the name of Sri Krishna, every town and Village, every Church and Mosque. Let us glorify the greatest Acharya ever Srila Prabhupada.
All this is thanks to the mercy of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, Srila Prabhupada and all the sincere Vaisnavas who are serving under the guidance of our beloved spiritual master.

The Washington Times incluso informó que había fallecido.
