This is also a awesome place for couples,also a nice tourist spot for family...
Not too big place,but they sell a lot of food...snacks,
Its ok for groups but not recommended for solo traveller....Could be reach by taking public bus...
Good place for photography...

Rich in natural beauty, the picturesque highlands of Nantou Country are right in the centre of Taiwan. Surrounded by green hills, The Old England Manor Hotel is a unique property with a Tudor-style exterior that is an intriguing surprise to find in this part of the world. Complete with a Gothic-style clock tower, the hotel is rich in English artefacts and statues abound throughout the extensive grounds.
The interesting mix of styles continues inside The Old England Manor Hotel, with different period furniture from Rococo to Art Deco. Regency striped wallpapers and fabrics sit next to floral patterns, chandeliers and Tiffany lampshades. The overall effect is really quite striking and encapsulates a romantic feel.
Head for nearby Mount Hehuan and the easily accessible Hehuanshan National Forest Recreation Area for some impressive scenery.
????Swiss Garden (瑞士花園)
The beautiful Northern European atmosphere at the Small Swiss Garden has given it the name of “Taiwan’s Little Switzerland” and “Paradise in the Mist”. Surrounded by such conveniences as Carton King, 7-11, Mos Burger and Starbucks, many like to stop by here to spend some time in the area before they continue on to beautiful Qingjing or Hehuanshan.
The colorful flowers, bald-cypresses, red maples and LED artificial sunflowers of the garden give it a unique atmosphere. Yet, the feeling of the place can change dramatically, making some visitors like to come here twice, once during the day and the second time at night when beautiful lit-up fountains brighten the night sky. We especially recommend coming at dawn, when misty clouds float down from the mountains, as though intent on connecting you with the peaks in the distance. This place is like a beautiful painting, with you in the very center.
????The Cingjing Farm (清境農場)
Known as a “Foggy Eden” far away from the city area in the mountains, Qingjing is great for those who enjoy fresh air, lush forests, acres of flowers along the plains and hillsides, and beautiful starry nights.
Qingjing is a favourite spot to interact with farm animals such as cows and sheep. Some animals that can be found on the farm include Corriedale lamb, Hereford cow, Aberdeen Angus cow, Barbado Sheep, Arab Horse, and ponies. A horse riding show and sheep-shearing show are available for visitors to enjoy as part of farm entry ticket. Pony rides are available during the day at the Qingjing Green Green Grasslands.
Throughout the day, the sun interacting with mist and fog within, around, and over the mountaintops produces some amazing weather effects. At dawn, the sun appears to rise from a sea of clouds. In the afternoon, fog and mist can sometimes roll over the mountains to cover the hillside. At dusk, pink clouds can be produced overhead, creating an amazing sunset panorama for visitors to enjoy.
Some fruits grown on the farm include kiwi, pears, plums, and peaches.
????Wuling (Hehuanshan Mountain)(合歡山)
This “mountain of joy” is called Hehuanshan (合歡山).
Located within Hehuanshan National Forest Area, Hehuan Wuling with an altitude of 3,275 meters is the highest point in the Taiwanese highway system. When the sky in clear, this highly raved spot becomes the perfect location to appreciate the sea of clouds, the sunset and the Milky Way that spread out before you in all its glory. Crux can even be seen in the sky from April to June.
Hehuan Wuling sits between the Main Peak and the East Peak. Due to its high altitude, no matter the season, you can expect a crisp 15⁰C to set the perfect wintertime mood for your visit, which is a pleasant change from the tropical climate down below. In winter, the mountain top will be capped with snow, and crowds of tourists flock to this white winter paradise. To the east, there is a lookout that allows visitors to take in the magnificent views of Hehuanshan, Qilaishan and Nanhu Mountain. When the night falls, many photography enthusiasts will be spotted geared up to capture incredible Milky Way photographs. Forget about Alishan as the sunrise up on Hehuan Wuling is unbeatable. The golden hued rays of sunrise softly caress the horizon with the mountains bathed in the glow of the rising sun. Every single second is a marvel itself, but you have to see it for yourself.

To get the bus ticket going to Cingjing Farm:
Tip: 1st bus depart at 8:40am (from Taichung Gancheng Station), it's best that you will reach the bus station as early as possible because the journey to Cingjing Farm is almost 3hrs.

Star Villa Hotel Review - Cing Jing Farm - Taiwan
We are going to review one of the best hotel that we stay when we are in Taiwan. It is also have high rating in several hotel website like booking.com, agoda and trip advisor.

Why we choose Star Villa:
- Strategic place.
Walking distance to Green Grass Land, Small Swiss Hotel and Karton King and also several Restaurant or seven eleven.
- Beautiful View.
- Have stargazing activity.
- High rating at several Traveling website.
- Friendly staff
- Good wifi

Negative side:
- If you stay at the third floor or if you want to go to stargazing, it is quite tiring and breathtaking, the air is thin, so you will lose your breath much faster. but the condition here is normal for hotel in Cingjing and usually Hotel employee will help to bring your luggage.
- the road you need to walk to the main road is very dark at night. But it is save, you can use your phone flashlight.

My Opinion and tips:
I love this hotel, you can experience fog in the afternoon and sea of cloud when you are lucky.
Remember that the main building have better view but it is older, so if you want better room for balcony view choose the old building.
The new building have better modern room but have blocked view, but maybe if you can get the level 2 room, it would be better.
remember you need to walk around 10min to go out to main road.
Stargazing session every night every 9pm except if it is raining.

For Food, Taiwan is one of the Food Heaven, especially if you like Pork. You can try Ay-Chung Flour Rice Noodle at Xi Men Ding, Carton King in Qing Jing and The First Din Tai Fung Restaurant.
Even the less known Restaurant also delicious, we will show you several place that i come during the visit to Taiwan.
