Boys Camp on the Rubicon River Victoria Australia
A quick trip up to the Rubicon Valley was all that we needed to help recharge the batteries after weeks of hot weather and fires all over the High Country, It a great place to camp with wife and kids, lots of history, lots of easy 4x4 trips to be had around the area.

What a great Campsite, Very green two Drop toilets, King River flowing past, plenty of places to camp. It's about 15km North of Whitfield VIC. It was just a bit wet when I filmed this, as we had had quite a bit of rain, But roads are pretty good in there. It's only about 1km to a winery too.

Brimin Lodge Murray Cod
Brimin Lodge is unique aquaculture venture and a picturesque holiday destination situated in the Rutherglen wine region. Their production of Murray Cod for sale was established in 1992, with fish that are grown in a specially built, environmentally controlled fish barn with water that is destined to be used for irrigating crops and pastures.
Bright Brewery
Bright Brewery was started by Scott Brandon and his wife Fiona Reddaway and specialises in craft beers made with no additives or preservatives from the pristine mountain waters at Ovens. The size of their micro brewery means they are able to experiment with different flavours, including a range of seasonal beers.

Wine Week 217: Another Valley entirely.
The best known wine 'valley' in Victoria would have to be the Yarra Valley, but a little further afield there's the King Valley, where winemakers such as the Dal Zottos have been working wonders with Italian varietals. This week we look at their Pinot Grigio before popping over to the Barossa Valley for a bargain shiraz from Thorn Clarke. We finish up by looking at a Cabernet not from Margaret River or Coonawarra but from the stylish folks at Balgownie Estate up around Bendigo.
