Earl of Kinnoull is a title in the Peerage of Scotland. It was created in 1633 for George Hay, 1st Viscount of Dupplin. Other associated titles are: Viscount Dupplin and Lord Hay of Kinfauns and Baron Hay of Pedwardine . The former two are in the Peerage of Scotland, while the third is in the Peerage of Great Britain. The title of Viscount Dupplin is the courtesy title for the Earl's eldest son and heir.

The Best Mountain Bike Trails In Scotland - Perth, Kinnoull Hill & Deuchny Hill

Continuing my quest of riding the best mountain bike trails in Scotland I found myself in Perth!

Some of the best riding in Perth is found at Kinnoull Hill and Deuchny Hill and they really have something for everyone, from smooth flowing bike park trails to super steep rooty chutes!

It's a great area for biking and I guarantee you'll enjoy yourself!

As always I took the Hope HB.160 as I've ridden this area a lot on previous bikes and I wanted to see how it stacked up.

F'Kinnoull, it's all seven stages of the 2019 Muckmedden Fair City Enduro in Perth, held across Deuchny and Kinnoull Hill.

Having never ridden there before meant the one day blind race format was exactly that! A brilliant race, the atmosphere is amazing - the proximity to Halloween means its an opportunity to get dressed up that shouldn't be ignored.

It's hard work - it might be old school riding in the woods but it's definitely on the calendar for next year...

Built in 1829 by Lord Grey of Kinfauns as a romantic folly. The Kinnoull Campus of De La Salle College is named after this hill. The property previously on the site of the College, built in 1856 by Sir James Palmer, was renamed Kinnoull by Sir Alexander Stewart, former Chairman of BHP Australia, who was born near Kinnoull Hill.

Close to the wee city of Perth in Scotland is Kinnoull Hill. Just 729ft it boasts views across to Fife and the Cairngorms (on a good day).

A great walk and home to plenty of wildlife - red squirrels, tawny owls and roe deer to name but a few.

Well worth visiting.

Big Tree Campervans, 2019. Round 3: Kinnoull Hill, Perth.

Round 3 of the Big Tree Campervans racing series sees racers compete in the only downhill event in the series. The race took place at Kinnoull Hill in Perth, Scotland on the 27th of October, 2019.

This was Jacob's last race of the downhill season; his last race as an 8 year old; and his last race on 24 wheels. This also turned out to be Jacob's first race win since he started racing.

Sir Hugh Munro Legacy Exhibition | Kinnoull Hill, Perth

A day trip on the train to Perth to view The Munro Legacy Exhibition at the A.K Bell Library, then a leg stretch up the picturesque Kinnoull HIll.

To mark the 100th anniversary of Sir Hugh Munro’s death, The Munro Society is presenting ‘The Munro Legacy Exhibition’, hosted at the A.K Bell library in Perth. It is free of charge and will take place between 5th March and 18th May 2019 during normal library opening hours.
