曾经是怡保最夯的地方，现在垃圾四处，有野狗、野猫，四脚蛇到处爬，野草也长得比我高了。逢雨季青苔更是长满地 - 很滑！现在除了理发店和脚踏车店以外，其它店铺都是空的。来这里休息的时候，突然悲从中来，随手拍了这部短片（不要怀疑，我是相机不离身的????）。希望借此短片来呼吁大家，要爱惜大自然。也希望能透过这短片得到有关当局的关注，从新整理所有，不要浪费及辜负了我们这么漂亮的地方。

Fishing area around Ipoh
Today we go riding around the used mining pool area at Pengkalan in Ipoh. Going along the Kinta river, the valley has a lots of used mining pool which now becoming haven for angler.
I would like to share with you all what was it like riding into the secluded area surrounded with bushes and like and river too.

Ipoh is the capitol city for the state of Perak. Just 2 hours away from Kuala Lumpur, it is also the gateway for those who would like to visit Cameron Highlands. Started of as a tin mining village, it has now become a food heaven for both locals and tourists.
We starting off the day with Ipoh's famous Shredded chicken Hor Fun Rice Noodle soup at Thean Chun Restaurant. This stall has been around for more than 3 generations and is now managed by the owner of 77 years old. The highlight of this dish is the soup that is made by simmering prawns with the broth for countless hours making it sweet and savoury.
Perhaps Ipoh's most famous export to the world is its white coffee. It is originated here and created by the chinese immigrants from the conventional black coffee to suit their sweet tooths. The name white coffee came from the condensed milk used that is poured over brewed coffee. The beans are also roasted with marjarine to give it it's caramalized flavor. We visit Sin Yoon Loong and Nam Heong restaurants for their take on their legendary caffeine fix.
We took a 5 mins walk admiring the colonial buildings on our way to Concubine Lane. There are a total of 3 lanes, each given by a rich mining tyhoon to his 3 wives. The mos famous being the concubine lane, it has now transformed into a vibrant alley with vendors selling street food and local products. We stop by the Tau Fu Fa shop for some dessert and rehydrate ourselves from the ho weather.
Just right opposite is where we find Kong Heng Square. A picturesque area with decoration combining old colonial buildings and nature. You will find hipster cafes, art gallery, museum and also accommodation here. We visit Bookxcess store that maintain some of its previou tenant's charm of a safe deposit bank.
Time to check in to our accommodation to freshen up and take a rest before dinner time. Kinta Riverfront hotel is a 4* establishment located at the central commercial hub of Ipoh infront of Kinta river. The hotel offers conventional hotel rooms together with bedrooms apartment for your stay at Ipoh.
For dinner, we find ourselves at Ipoh's favourite Bean Sprout Chicken Rice at Lou Wong's. Ipoh is famous for its bean sprout as they are overall fattier, juicier and crunchier. It is usually mixed together with soy sauce and sesame oil. This is Ipoh's take at one of Malaysian's many versions of Chicken Rice.
The next day, we have breakfast at Riverview Coffee House on the 4th Floor of the hotel. It has a good spread of local and internationa dishes. What's impressive is they have many on demand cooking stations that will prepare freshly cooked local dishes like Roti Canai, Fried Carrot cake and many more. The food hall is spacious with plenty of seats.
We then head to one of Ipoh's many cave temples surrounding the city. Kek Look Tong is just 30 mins drive from the hotel. It has an impressive huge cavern opening that is easy to access with staircases and paved floor. Previously an iron mining site, is has been converted into a place of worship since the 1920s. We would highly suggest visiting this temple when at Ipoh.
To finish off our food tour, we gotta visit Ipoh's most infamous dish, cannabis rice or locally known as Nasi Ganja. Do not worry as there is no actual addictive drug in it. It got its name due to the addiction patrons get after consuming this delicious meal. It's a version of Nasi Kandar with a twist. We certainly got the addiction as we almost find ourselves there for the 3rd time in 2 days.

Ipoh Drone Flight: Ipoh is the capital city of the Malaysian state of Perak. Located by the Kinta River, it is nearly 180 km (110 mi) north of Kuala Lumpur and 123 km (76 mi) southeast of George Town in neighbouring Penang. As of 2010, Ipoh contained a population of 657,892, making it the third largest city in Malaysia by population. Originally a village, Ipoh began to grow rapidly in the 1880s after huge deposits of tin were discovered within its vicinity. By 1895, it was the second largest town within the Federated Malay States, which also consisted of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang. Ipoh was declared a city in 1988. However, following the depletion of its tin deposits and the collapse of tin prices in the 1970s, the city suffered decades of decline and neglect. In recent years, Ipohs popularity as a tourist destination has been significantly boosted by efforts to conserve its British colonial-era architecture. The city is also well known for its cuisine and natural attractions, such as its limestone hills and caves within which Buddhist temples were built. In addition, Ipoh has managed to maintain its reputation as one of the cleanest cities in Malaysia. Ipohs location between Kuala Lumpur and George Town has made it a major land transportation hub within West Malaysia, with both the Malayan Railways West Coast Line and the North-South Expressway cutting through the city. Aside from the land transportation links, Ipoh is also served by the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport. I've stayed here for about 1 week it it a very nice place..only 3-5 minutes to the Ipoh town centre,hospital dataran ipoh and other attractions. About 20-30 minutes to Malaysia Animation Parks and Tambun Water Park(depends on the current traffic situation).
Very nice and pleasant hotel to stay with my family,clean room,nice food, helpfull staff, easy to park, have swimming pool, good smell and many more good thing.

Top best places to visit in Ipoh, Malaysia
Ipoh is one of the country’s largest cities, it lies on the west coast of the Malaysian peninsula.
It used be called the City of Millionaires referring to the fortunes made during the tin rush.
You can see splendid architecture around the Old Town.
The best examples are the Court House, the Town Hall,
And the Railway Station, dubbed “Taj Mahal of Ipoh”.
Nearby the Station Square are the Birch Memorial Clocktower, a popular tourist spot,
And the State Mosque.
There are not many landmarks in the city center but there are some interesting buildings worth seeing, like:
Darul Ridzuan Museum,
The Old Federal Building,
St. Michael's Institution,
And several more.
Many Malaysian cities have a large green area in the center.
Padang Ipoh is such a place that around it there are couple of historic and religious buildings.
This is also a good place to play sports.
Very nice place for a walk, especially at night, is Kinta Riverfront.
Just next to it is Dr. Seenivasagam Park, a perfect place for relaxation.
A little outside the city center is Perak Cave Temple.
This Chinese temple houses over 40 Buddha statues,
Including, the tallest and largest Buddha statue in Malaysia, standing almost 13 m high.
And from the top of the Rock, in which the temple was carved,
There is a nice view over both sides of the city.
