The Kintamani
Up in the mountain there lies a caldera. With hot spring, cold lake and a volcano in the middle. The view is magnificent, the air is fresh and well.. its Bali's highland, it should be pretty much self-explanatory :)
This is an aerial recce and location survey for the upcoming travel video we want to shoot for Kintamani. Shot mostly with a humble GoPro we will later come back with our big gun to take better shots at better times. Meanwhile, this is it... The Kintamani.

Daerah kawasan pariwisata Kintamani berada di bagian timur laut pulau Bali dan berada di bawah kaldera Gunung Batur, salah satu gunung berapi yang masih aktif di Bali. Selain terdapat gunung Berapi, di kawasan pariwisata Kintamani wisatawan juga dapat melihat pemandangan danau alami yang bernama danau Batur.
Di dalam area kawasan pariwisata terdapat beberapa desa. Seperti desa Penelokan, desa Abung, desa Songan, desa Toya Bungkah, desa Batur, desa Kedisan, dan desa Kintamani yang masuk dalam pemerintahan kabupaten Bangli. Sebagian besar wisatawan yang liburan ke salah satu desa lebih mengenal dengan sebutan Kintamani, walaupun sebenarnya wisatawan berlibur di desa Penelokan atau desa lainnya.
Ada tiga desa favorit wisatawan untuk melihat pemandangan gunung Batur serta danau Batur. Yaitu desa Penelokan, desa Batur dan desa Kintamani, karena berada di dataran tinggi. Selain melihat pemandangan alam pegunungan dan danau, wisatawan yang berlibur ke tempat wisata Kintamani juga menyukai aktivitas berendam di kolam air panas alami yang berada di desa Toya Bungkah.
Lokasi Kintamani berada di dataran tinggi, membuat suhu udara di Kintamani pada siang hari tetap terasa sejuk, dengan suhu rata-rata 20 derajat celcius. Banyak wisatawan tertarik liburan ke Kintamani karena keindahan alam pegunungan yang di miliki oleh Kintamani. Keindahan alam yang menjadi daya tarik utama yang membuat wisatawan ingin liburan ke Kintamani Bali seperti, pemandangan gunung Batur dan danau Batur.
Karena lokasi Kintamani berada di dataran tinggi, maka peluang hujan dan kabut tebal juga sangat tinggi, biasanya terjadi pada sore hari. Maka dari itu, waktu terbaik liburan ke Kintamani adalah di pagi hari sekitar pukul 09:00 – 13:00. Selain itu, ada baiknya anda membawa payung atau jas hujan
