Kinzua Dam Warren Pennsylvania A Drone Video
Built 1966, the Kinzua Dam was authorized under the Flood Control Acts of 1936 and 1938. The dam was constructed to protect Pittsburgh and reduce flood levels in the Ohio River Valley after a series of floods devastated Pittsburgh, Johnstown, and other cities downstream the Allegheny River.

Kinzua Dam and Allegheny Reservoir are at the heart of one of the largest and most popular outdoor recreation complexes in the northeastern United States.
The Allegheny Reservoir spans the border between Pennsylvania and New York. In Pennsylvania, the reservoir is completely surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest; and in New York State by Allegany State Park and the Allegany Indian Reservation of the Seneca Nation.
This video provides a bird's eye view of the dam and reservoir, providing a whole new perspective on this incredible recreation complex!

Kinzua Dam
The Kinzua Dam, on the Allegheny River in Warren County, Pennsylvania, is one of the largest dams in the United States east of the Mississippi River. It is located within the Allegheny National Forest.
The dam is located 6 miles (10 km) east of Warren, Pennsylvania, along Route 59, within the 500,000-acre (200,000 ha) Allegheny National Forest. A boat marina and beach are located within the dam boundaries. In addition to providing flood control and power generation, the dam created Pennsylvania's deepest lake, the Allegheny Reservoir, also known as Kinzua Lake. The lake extends 25 miles to the north, nearly to Salamanca, New York, which is within the Allegany Reservation of the Seneca Nation of New York.

ABANDONED MOTEL WARREN PA
In this vlog we visited a few different places in Warren, PA to give you guys some never before seen content from this town! We started off at the Warren State Hospital (A public psychiatric hospital in Warren, Pennsylvania, established in 1880. The original hospital was designed by John McArthur, Jr. and constructed under the Kirkbride Plan. Its population peaked at 2,562 residents in 1947. As of 2019, the hospital is still active)
We also visited The Red Maple Inn Motel which closed down in 2014. If you get a chance go check out the reviews for this place on Google, I can understand why they shut down...
And to end this video we stopped at what we believe used to be an abandoned hair salon/store of some type called Route 62 Sweets

Multi-species fishing on the Allegheny River below the the Kinzua Dam in Warren, Pennsylvania! It was a beautiful and surreal place to fish! I caught a rockbass and a walleye.

Federal condemnation of tribal lands to be flooded for the project displaced more than 600 Seneca members and cost the reservation 10,000 acres (4,000 ha), nearly one-third of its territory and much of its fertile farmland.
