Kirkby Lonsdale Rugby Club 'League Champions 2016-17'

I was lucky enough to be in Kirkby Lonsdale and saw their rugby team make history by winning the North West One league.

The team was undefeated throughout the season.

First summer trip to Kirkby Lonsdale

This is the first week of our summer holidays. We had a great week in Kirkby Lonsdale, the weather was great, the Village was fantastic and the site was nice and quiet.

Kirby Lonsdale to Settle...

...which is a pleasant little blast , down a road with lot's of unmarked police cars! I was going to turn off onto the Lancaster road and have a shuftie around Morecambe market, then return via the 'Trough of Bowland' road...but as it was late in the afternoon everything would be closed by the time I got there! I should have stopped in Settle, for a scone and a brew in the 'Singing Kettle' again...but I went straight home as I was a bit 'cream crackered' !
