Find out more at
I spent the day challenging 300+ kids from Kindergarten to Grade 8 to get Unplugg'd, and be the best YOU for the world that they can be by trying new things, not giving up, and being more kind to each other.
The frisbee trickshot took a few attempts which built up the excitement and made the cheer that much louder when I finally made it in the net!

KWLT's Frankenstein Trailer - kwlt.org
KWLT proudly presents...
Frankenstein
from the classic by Mary Shelley, adapted by Tim Kelly
Directed by Karen Grierson
at the rebuilt Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre, located in Uptown Waterloo at 9 Princess St. E.
In an Age of Reason, humanity challenges the Godhood in everything, including the act of creation, paying for its pride and vanity with loathing and violence. Creature and Creator are bound forever in a dance that asks, again and again, What are you afraid of? and My God, what have I done?
Tim Kelly's adaptation draws the audience into the intimate world of those questions and challenges us to answer for ourselves whether God loathes His creations as Victor does, or is there compassion to be found amidst our sins that redeems us all - Creator and Creation alike - in grace?
Performance Dates: March 17 - 19, 24 - 26 and March 31 - Apr 2, 2011

Grand River Film Festival | Celebrating Kitchener Waterloo Cambridge Ontario through Film
The Grand River Film Festival (GRFF) was born in 2007, springing from the knowledge that the Region of Waterloo is home to many people who love films, be they large-audience movies, indies, documentaries, shorts or experimental. The region also plays host to filmmakers who create their works using its streets and countrysides for their settings, approaching 150 productions and still growing. Joining them are the growing number of people who are studying and learning the art and craft of filmmaking. The idea: bring these audiences together in a friendly environment to share and grow their enthusiasm for films. With seven festivals and counting, that idea has been and continues to be a solid success. Adding to that success are the audiences from beyond the region: GRFF draws participants from far and wide!

What s the Kitchener Waterloo real estate market like?
What’s the Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate market like?
KW and the GTA
The Kitchener-Waterloo region is one of the hottest housing markets in Ontario. Strong local job creation and business investment in Waterloo Region’s tech, education, and healthcare industries have drawn large numbers of buyers to Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge. Our housing stock is still affordable compared to GTA and the Golden Horseshoe.
Seller’s Market
However, as migration to KW continues, the supply of available homes for sale has become increasingly scarce. That’s pushed the Kitchener-Waterloo region into a strong sellers’ market, as buyers face increased competition and upward pressure on home prices.
November report
In the November report from the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of Realtors statistics show that our home sales have trended 4% higher than 2018 levels over the past six months. New listings plunged by 27.9% in November. Our overall months of inventory are currently at a historic low of 1.1. As a result, prices have seen considerable gains across all home types:
• The average detached home rose 14.2% to $660,071
• Condos by 13% to $342,561
• Townhouses and semi-detached homes up 22.4% to $443,633.
How Affordable is Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate?
These price points still make KW a considerably cheaper option than the Greater Toronto Area, where the average home fetches $843,637.
