Traveling to Malaysia | Vacation in World Heritage Melaka | VLOG
Malacca, (Malay: Melaka; Tamil: மலாக்கா, simplified Chinese: 马六甲; traditional Chinese: 馬六甲), dubbed The Historic State[citation needed], is a state in Malaysia located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Strait of Malacca.
The state is bordered by Negeri Sembilan to the north and west and Johor to the south. The exclave of Cape Rachado also borders Negeri Sembilan to the north. Its capital is Malacca City, which is 148 kilometres (92 miles) south east of Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur, 235 kilometres (146 miles) north west of Johor's largest city Johor Bahru, and 95 km (59 miles) north west of Johor's second largest city, Batu Pahat. This historical city centre has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008.
Although it was the location of one of the earliest Malay sultanates, the local monarchy was abolished when the Portuguese conquered it in 1511. The head of state is the Yang di-Pertua Negeri or Governor, rather than a Sultan.
Malacca has adopted as its slogan, Visiting Malacca Means Visiting Malaysia (Melawat Melaka Bererti Melawati Malaysia).
Malacca has numerous historical places and buildings. In order to preserve those sites, numerous museums have been built to preserve those legacies. Most of the museums in the state are managed by Malacca Museum Corporation (PERZIM; Malay: Perbadanan Muzium Melaka).[61] Museums in Malacca are Aborigines Museum, Agricultural Museum, Malacca Al-Quran Museum, Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum, Beauty Museum, Cheng Ho Cultural Museum, Chitty Museum, Customs Department Museum, Democratic Government Museum, Education Museum, Malacca Forestry Museum, Governor's Museum, History and Ethnography Museum, Malacca Islamic Museum, Malacca Kite Museum, Malacca Literature Museum, Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum, Malay and Islamic World Museum, Malaysia Architecture Museum, Maritime Museum, Navy Museum, People's Museum, Prison Museum, Pulau Besar Museum, Stamp Museum, Straits Chinese Jewellery Museum, Submarine Museum, Toy Museum, Tradition and Custom Museum, UMNO Museum, World's Bees Museum and Youth Museum.
The other historical buildings and structures are A Famosa, Alor Gajah British Graveyard, Bastion Middleburg, Dutch Graveyard, Hang Jebat Mausoleum, Hang Kasturi Mausoleum, Hang Li Poh's Well, Hang Tuah Mausoleum, Hang Tuah's Well, Malacca Light, Malacca Warrior Monument, Portuguese Well, Proclamation of Independence Memorial, Ruins of Saint Paul's Church, Saint John's Fort, Stadthuys, Tun Abdul Ghafar Baba Memorial and Tun Teja Mausoleum.
There are also galleries displaying various aspects of life in Malaccaa, which include, Chief Minister’s Gallery, Demang Abdul Ghani Gallery, Folks Art Gallery, Malacca Gallery, Gallery of Admiral Cheng Ho, Macau Gallery, Malacca Art Gallery and Malacca House.
Theme parks, education centres, resorts and zoos in Malacca are A' Famosa Resort, Al-Khawarizmi Astronomy Complex, Malacca Bird Park, Malacca Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary, Malacca Crocodile Farm, Malacca Planetarium, Malacca Wonderland, Malacca Zoo, Mini Malaysia and ASEAN Cultural Park, Pirate Park and Taming Sari Tower.
Melaka has natural-related tourist sites, such as Ayer Keroh Lake, Bukit Batu Lebah Recreational Forest, Cape Rachado, Garden of Thousand Flowers, Klebang Beach, Malacca Botanical Garden, Malacca River, Malacca Tropical Fruit Farm, Paya Laut Linggi Recreational Forest, Pengkalan Balak Beach, Puteri Beach, Saint Paul's Hill and Sungai Udang Recreational Forest. Malacca has also hot springs, namely Gadek Hot Spring and Jasin Hot Spring.
Malacca is a multi-religious society, therefore various worshiping places can be found around the state, namely Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Chinese Mosque, Christ Church, Kampung Hulu Mosque, Kampung Kling Mosque, Poh San Teng Temple, Saint Francis Xavier Church, Saint Peter's Church, Straits Mosque, Sri Poyatha Moorthi Temple, State Mosque and Tranquerah Mosque.
Public squares in Malacca are 1Malaysia Square, Alor Gajah Square, Ayer Keroh Square and Jasin Square.
Some famous night markets can be found along Jonker Walk in Chinatown during weekends evening and along Puteri Beach in Tanjung Kling. In total, there are around 87 night markets around Malacca.[62] During the Islamic fasting month, special night markets are opened along many major roads throughout the month.[63]

Golf
The establishment of the Melaka State Golf Gallery was inspired by His Excellency the Governor of Melaka, Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob, who has a deep passion for the game. With his full support, his aspiration was fulfilled by the Melaka State Government through the Melaka Museum Corporation (PERZIM) in 2011.
People in general are not very familiar with golf. In Malaysia today, golf is still considered a foreign game and is confined to the elite and senior leaders in view of its high membership fees. This gallery is the first of its kind in Malaysia and is likely to become a centre for reference, information and exhibitions relating to golf, especially in Melaka.
The establishment of the Melaka State Golf Gallery is in line with the government's aspiration to develop golf as a sport in Malaysia while providing the opportunity for the public to learn more about the game. Besides, the effort is done to further assist the Federal Government and Melaka State Government to make the country particularly Melaka and generally Malaysia as the Golf Choice Destination of this region.
It is hoped that the establishment of this gallery will receive encouraging response from the community as a whole.

Today we would like to share our experience of visiting the historical city, Malacca!
In one day, we had a lot of fun and memories to be remembered.
To get to Malacca, we rent a van including the driver. The cost for transportation is RM 1200.
We share our money for the transportation. The cost were a bit high but for our own safety, it is not a big deal. We start our journey early in the morning from Shah Alam to avoid traffic jam because the day we went for the vacation is on public holiday. To start our day, we had our breakfast at R&R
is A Famosa and St. Paul Hill.
A famosa were made by Alfonso De Albuequerque as a stronghold to defend against foreign invasion. Here, we learned a lot of history of Malacca. At A Famosa also we can ride a 'beca'. Which is cost RM15. Its nice to ride in the 'beca'. They decorate the 'beca' creatively.
The 'Beca'-man ride us to the interesting places nearby. Such as Samudera Museum, Christ Church Malacca, Military Museum and many more.
Here we learned about the old culture of Malay people and we get the chance to see a lot of artifacts during the ancient time. There are cloths, swords and stuff. This palace is used to be the real palace for the kings and queen of Malacca but since the British attack that destroys the Malacca descendent, now this palace has become an historical places for the tourist. The entrance is only RM 2 for adult and RM0.50 for Children.Next, we went to Taming Sari Tower. From this tower we were able to witness the stunning scenery of Malacca at the height of 80 metres above the ground. This tower turns 360 degrees at the height 80 metres above the ground to show us the beauty of Malacca. The price of the ticket for adult is RM 20 and RM10 for kids.
We had a walk at Klebang Beach while having the famous drink at Klebang beach which is Coconut Milkshake. It is so nice to witness the beauty of the beach while having coconut milkshake. The activity that we can do here is ATV, riding a horse, and playing kite. After half day journey, we felt hungry. We made up our mind to try Asam Pedas because Malacca is also known as a popular place for Asam Pedas. So, we give it a try!
Our journey is not complete without a visiting to Zoo Melaka! The ticket only cost us RM 10 as we are consider as an adult while RM4 for children.During the time we visit the Zoo, it was raining but however we did enjoyed the time that we spend at Zoo Melaka. There is thousands of animal species in the zoo. There is also a show of animals such as birds in the zoo. It is great to see the animal very close. The animal that have in this zoo is Malayan tiger, elephant, birds, snakes and many more. This is the end of our journey. We had so much fun for this vacation.

I selected the first destination where the ceiling is 18 for each appearance was unusual in Southeast Asia's largest National mosques. Inde weekday daytime hours, the temple front was full of people who came to pray split the lunch hour. Indeyo lunch time is 12:30 from 2:30. Pray and go eat and go to work. Temple had become a parking lot apen a limited time only lunchtime outdoor restaurant is up for the believers. Lunch of Malaysians to fit the form prayer is the simplest expression is the main buffet served with fish cakes and chicken. Grilled beef hamburger patties on the spot to make the most popular bestsellers. Pulppang that is burned into our country in the same way as the home was nice to meet a friend in another country. 35 degree heat ttaengbyeol stuffing lunch Sanya restaurants with no regard for the people there to sit astride. Malaysians seem woojikhan with nature. That all Muslims should pray five times from dawn until bedtime. Wash your hands and feet clean offering a prayer? It is the tradition of Islam, only about 8000 people attend lunch time finding this temple, shoe box is always overcrowded. Islam was the state religion tomb is located inside of the former Prime Minister of the country like a temple. Malaysia has got a variety of religions, including Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism. Where people are required to believe and want to believe they are free to choose a religion among many religions. All religions and religious issues do not occur except for a few little problems, because regional peace and coexistence based on a broad understanding and care for each other.

Trip to Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia. Part 1 of 3 (Eng Sub)
We used to travel together when we were student and known each other since we were 19 years old. Now, we are all in our fifties and we decided to travel to the North to Kuala Kangsar, it is the royal town of Perak state and it has been the home of Perak's royal family since the 18th century.
During our trip, haze was very bad, grey skies and lingering acrid smoky smell.
