Jeudi, l'aéroport China Qionghai Boao, dans la province de Hainan, a vu son premier avion atterrir. Le nouvel aéroport est situé sur la même île que le site du forum de Boao, ce qui raccourcira le voyage pour des milliers d'invités au cours des prochains jours.

Kay Brick Smash - WDP CHINA - HAINAN ISLAND 2015
Kay Falk Unverhau, a WDP Student breaks 2 concrete bricks using Wudang Ta Zhang Technique (crushing/falling palm). Prior to the breaks both bricks are tested by more than 308 lbs (that was all what we had on weights) and kept very solid structure without any damage.
Soon we will do another test, using more weight to find out how much lbs it needs to damage the concrete bricks.
As you can see the 2 smashes Kay uses to break the bricks are easy going (sure with focus, but still not that hard to go through the bricks).

Boao, Hainan -- The 2013 kite racing world championships kicked off in spectacular fashion Riders chose 8m to 10m kites to match the winds which ranged from 18 to 20kts as they ripped over the clear waters of Boao's King Bay in preparation for the International Kiteboarding Association's (IKA) course racing world championship being staged in China for the first time.
Reigning world champions Johnny Heineken (USA) and sister Erika went through their paces on the two tracks laid side-by-side during a series of practice races. A fleet of 160 riders, from more than 40 countries around the world, enjoyed the moderately smooth waters inside the reef.

Haikou is the capital and most populous city of Hainan province, China. It is situated on the northern coast of Hainan, by the mouth of the Nandu River. The northern part of the city is the district of Haidian Island, which is separated from the main part of Haikou by the Haidian River, a branch of the Nandu.
Haikou is a comprising four districts, and covering 2,280 square kilometres (880 sq mi). There are 2,046,189 inhabitants in the built up area all living within the 4 urban districts of the city.
Haikou was originally a port city. Today, more than half of the island's total trade still goes through its ports. The city is home to Hainan University, which has its main campus on Haidian Island.

Holiday Beach is beach and visitor attraction located along Binhai Road, Haikou, Hainan, China.
The 7-kilometre-long, 33 hectare beach area was officially established in 1995. Since then, it has undergone development with the establishment of visitor attractions such as restaurants, swimming pools, an outdoor roller skating rink, and an amphitheatre. The land beside the beach has been landscaped and pathways created. The entire shoreline is maintained by workers who remove rubbish.
Holiday beach is a popular destination for tourists. It is known by residents of Haikou as a place to eat chuanr at night.
The beach has also been the site of major competitions for such sports as kitesurfing and volleyball

Holiday Beach is a typical place for touring and having leisure at the beach. The Holiday Beach is
located at the side of Qingling Road of the west in Haikou, and the total length of the Holiday Beach is 6 kilometers.
The whole beach can be divided into four areas: sun bath area on the beach, sport area in the sea,
ocean food area and holiday area. There are also many sports and performances around the beach. All
of them are for free. The golden sunshine, blue seawater, yellow beach and green coconut trees form
a great picture of the seashore. You can’t miss it!

How to get there: there are Special minibuses to Holiday Beach in the downtown area of Haikou; or
you can take Buses No. 40, 28, 29, Y1 or Y2 to get there

Hainan ist seit 1988 eine Provinz im Süden der Volksrepublik China, welche aus verschiedenen Inseln besteht. Zuvor war die nun südlichste Provinz der Volksrepublik administrativer Teil der Provinz Guangdong (Kanton). Die größte der Inseln wird ebenfalls Hainan genannt.
Hainan wurde im April 1988 zu einer eigenständigen Provinz und zugleich zu Chinas größter wirtschaftlicher Sonderzone ernannt. Da die Volksrepublik China die Insel Taiwan als eigenständigen Staat nicht anerkennt, wird Hainan somit als die zweitgrößte Insel der Volksrepublik China geführt, mit einer Größe nur etwas geringer als Taiwan.
Dem chinesischen Großreich wurde Hainan bereits zu Zeiten der Han Dynastie (206 v. Chr. bis 220 n. Chr.) angegliedert. Unter dem General Lu Bede wurden die südchinesischen Küstenstreifen befriedet, darunter fiel im Jahre 110 v. Chr. auch Hainan.
Hainan wird auch das „Hawaii von China genannt.[4]
Auf der Insel sollen bis 2010 zwanzig Golfplätze fertiggestellt sein. Im Boa Dorum in Qionghai findet das jährliche Präsidententreffen der ostasiatischen Staaten statt.[1]
Die Hauptstadt der Provinz Hainan ist die Stadt Haikou. Die Stadt ist auch bekannt als Koskosnuss-Stadt und hat interessante historische Sehenswürdigkeiten und einen für die Provinz wichtigen Hafen. Der sogenannte Tempel der Fünf Beamten besteht aus fünf traditionellen Tempeln und Hallen, die zu Ehren von fünf Beamten der Tang-Dynastie (618--907) und der Song-Dynastie (960--1279) errichtet wurden. Die Beamten wurden für einen Zeitraum von 11 Tagen bis 11 Jahren nach Hainan verbannt, da sie dem Kaiser widersprachen.
Die Grabstätte des Hai Rui (Chinesisch: 海瑞墓; Pinyin: Hǎi Ruì Mù) ist ein nationales Kulturdenkmal und stammt aus dem Jahr 1589. Die Grabstätte wurde zum Gedenken an die vielen guten Dinge des Hai Rui während seines Lebens errichtet und befindet sich im Südwesten der Stadt Haikou. Hai Rai war ein sehr beliebter Beamter mit hainanesischer Herkunft, der zur Zeit der Ming-Dynastie lebte. Er war berühmt für seine lebenslange Ehrlichkeit und seiner Bereitschaft, sich für die lokale Bevölkerung starkzumachen. Später fiel er in Ungnade des Kaisers und wurde verfolgt.
Die Festung Xiuying Barbette wurde 1891 gebaut, um den Südosten Chinas während des Sino-Französischen Krieges zu verteidigen. Die fünf großen Kanonen auf der Festung sind noch intakt und können besichtigt werden. Die Festung befindet sich an der Straße Haixiu im Stadtbezirk Xiuying von Haikou.
Die Insel Hainan hat viele Strände und auch heiße Quellen. Einige sehr schöne landschaftliche Gebiete sind der Badeort Yalong Bucht (In der Nähe von Sanya); der Badeort Dadonghai (In der Nähe von Sanya); Qizhi Shan (Sieben Finger Berg), die heiße Quelle Guantang (in Qionghai), Shishan Vulkanischer Garten; der Gebirgskamm Baishi und Baihua, Wanquan Fluss. Der Wanquan-Fluss entspringt am Wuzhi-Berg und ist mit einer Länge von 163 km der drittgrößte Fluss in Hainan. An seinem Ober- und Unterlauf wachsen üppige Bäume und Palmen. Der Abschnitt in Qionghai wurde zu einem Touristengebiet erschlossen.
Weitere Attraktionen sind die Qiong Oper und Yalong Wan (亞龍灣 Crescent Drachenbucht oder Yalong Bucht), ein 7 km langer Strand östlich von Sanya.
Test flight successful at Boao airport in Hainan
Test flights have been successful at a new airport in a resort town in southern China's Hainan province.
The town, Boao, is venue of the annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia, a non-profit organization founded in 2001 committed to promoting economic integration in Asia.
Construction of the airport began in March last year with an estimated investment of about 173 million U.S. dollars.
This year's forum will be held from March 22 to 25, during which political, business and academic leaders will discuss pressing global and regional issues.
The airport is expected to start trial operation just before that.

For many Chinese holidaymakers, a trip to Sanya, billed as the Hawaii of the East, is high on their bucket lists. It's China’s top beach holiday destination, known for its white sand beaches, clear waters and cloudless blue skies.
Similar in latitude to Hawaii, it has a daily average temperature of 30 degrees Celsius or 86 degrees Fahrenheit.
Suggestion: For a more relaxing getaway, skip town entirely and head for one of the more upmarket hotels and resorts in Yalong Bay. The beach here is markedly less crowded and the vibe more laid back.
