Pudding Hill, Methven
Canterbury Forest Playground
Rarely do blocks come to the market with the character, charm and potential of this Pudding Hill forestry come grazing block. Located in the Mid Canterbury foothills, just one hour’s drive from Christchurch City and International and Domestic airport facilities and a mere 10 minutes from the thriving Methven township.

Future forestry or potential grazing income are options, or just enjoy as a forest park with mature trees, native bush and a panorama of views from Mt Hutt, over the Canterbury Plains to the Port Hills that you will never tire of. This property allows you to get away from the rat race and back to a natural environment to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Currently, the 78.0076 ha of Ruapuna Stony Silt and bouldery soils is planted in 8.4 ha of fully stocked Radiata Pine, 23.5 ha of partially stocked Radiata and 2.2ha of Douglas Fir. Fencing is post, wire and netting boundary and internal, creating three holding paddocks plus four larger blocks. Meanwhile water is fed to troughs via a holding tank supplied from Mt Albert.
