This elephant came straight for us rather than cross the road like a gentleman! Eight wide eyed friends, feeling awfully uncomfortable during the whole process. This video ends before we make an escape to the right!
Happy Hour in the Klaserie
Fantastic sightings this weekend with a rather large herd of elephants (over 100!), an equally sizeable herd of buffalo, plus one giraffe... And they were all together at one dam! The Klaserie is up to its old tricks, impressing guests with superb game viewing! Thanks to guide, Luan, for the footage.

Taken at my house in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. He was named Snap by Save the Elephant Foundation as he has a broken tusk. He was later collared by Michelle and Steve Henley who track the collared elephants and monitor the impact they have on the environment.

Wild Dogs Having Fun in the Kruger's Klaserie
The African wild dog is a rare species to see on safari. A pack of 32 wild dogs were spotted in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve between Africa on Foot and nThambo Tree Camp - we know them as the Orpen Pack (see more of this pack here: an exceptionally sized pack of dogs!
Here we see the dogs greeting and playing with each other, which is part of what makes them so interesting to watch. For more info about the African wild dog, as well as some incredible pictures, please see the below blog post, and keep an eye out for future updates!
