Klöntalersee is a natural lake in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland and covers the major part of the Klöntal valley floor. Since 1908, it has been used as a reservoir for electricity production. The dam's construction substantially increased the lake's volume.

Klöntalersee is a natural mountain lake with a man-made dam in the remote Klöntal valley in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland. The lake is famous for its fantastic reflections. Ideal for water sports and fishing in summer; and for skating in winter. The waterfall in this video is located nearby the lake.
Most shots in this video such as the flights over water were made during a beautiful day in fall with DJI's Phantom 4 drone.

Klöntal Lake - Klöntalersee in German - is a lake located in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland. Since 1908, it has been used as a reservoir for the production of electricity. The construction of a dam substantially increased the volume of the lake. The Klöntalersee is drained by the river Löntsch, left tributary of the river Linth. [1]

A hike 2000m up the mountains in the Glarus canton of Switzerland. 13-15 September 2019.
Friday (after work) - 1300m up (450 - 1800). Had to move the tent once because cows were aggressive and I wasn't feeling safe.
Saturday - Hiked up to 2400 and stayed above 2000m. Pitched my tent at 2040m.
Sunday - Walked up and hiked down to the village. 1600m down in 3h. Knees are fine, but leg muscles were exhausted.
Camera: Nikon D3400 with 35mm prime lens. I don't own a tripod, so everything was precariously balanced on top of rocks, trees, etc.
Drone: DJI Mavic air. I had two batteries and no remote, but I filmed all the air time and tried to savage the good cuts.

This time we would like to introduce to you the lake Klöntalersee. This lake is located in the canton of glarus, not far away from lake Obersee - featured in another video of ours.

Klöntalersee is an ideal recreational location near Zurich. Avoid going there on sundays as there will be a lot of people who want to take a swim in the lake.
とても美しく、チューリッヒエリアからほど近いこともあり、特に日曜日にはたくさんの人が訪れるため、できれば平日か土曜日をに行くことをお勧めします。
