THAILANDS BEST HIDDEN PARADISE | KOH MAK, KOH CHANG, KOH KHAM
Have you ever heard of Koh Mak, Koh Chang or Koh Kham? I haven't and wasn't in the picture. We wanted to travel a beautiful island in Thailand and so we did some research and finally found Koh Chang and Koh Mak. It was off season, and there was few people - we had the island for ourselves.
We started our journey from Frankfurt Germany!
Koh Mak is a tiny and one of the least developed islands, which means that it's not too touristy at all. There are not a lot of places and resorts to stay on the island. There are budget friendly resort and expensive ones. We decides to get a whole bungalow to ourselves. The first one we stayed in was right next to the sea. We would hear the waves at night and in the morning we would enjoy the breakfast next to the sunrise with the beautiful sea next to us. It was an amazing experience and I definitely wanna go back!

Paradise found on Koh Mak! This beautiful little Island in Thailand really took our hearts. With it's laid-back lifestyle and peaceful atmosphere Koh Mak felt like a perfect island getaway.
On our second day we went to Koh Kham, another even smaller little island right next to Koh Mak. It was originally planned to be a luxurious resort and lots of construction already happened, but the project was put on hold because of some environmental issues. So for now it's a bit of a ghost island, but very beautiful.
On Koh Mak I can highly recommend eating at the Chill Restaurant! Not only does it have a really relaxed atmosphere, but the fresh coconut shake is out of this world!
We stayed at the Baan Koh Mak Resort, which was right on the beach and was a nice green complex with many little modern bungalows and very friendly staff.
If you are on Koh Chang or Koh Kood I can highly recommend also spending a few days on Koh Mak and Koh Kham, if you like quiet island hideaways you will not be dissappointed!

Hidden away in Koh Mak island is an even smaller island called Koh Kham. This beautifully kept island is a must visit. Blue water as far as the eye can see and the finest white sands, you must visit Koh Mak!

An impression of our brief holiday on Koh Mak, the best one of the quietest island in Thailand! where we stayed at Seavana Beach Resort (Highly recommended).
Koh Mak
From Trat, head to Pier in Laem Ngop about 16 km away from Trat to catch a speed boat that will take you to Koh Mak. It take about an hour and cost 450 baht.
The island offer many wide, white sand beaches that are un-crowded tourists. The most popular activities are kayaking, snorkeling, diving and sailing.
You are able to explore many beaches along the shoreline and check out the sea life in the clear water.
Koh Kham
A short boat or kayak ride from Koh Mak takes you to the emerald pearl of Trat, Koh Kham, nice lava rock and white sand beach. There is a 200 baht fee to visit the island.

HOW TO SPEND A DAY ON KOH MAK | TRAVEL VLOG #44
Koh Mak is a tiny island, but it has some amazing beaches! In today's video we rent a scooter and spend a day exploring the island.
We started the day off by driving to the other side of Koh Mak to the popular Ao Kao Beach where you find most of the island's resorts and restaurants. Ao Kao beach is beautiful – so of course we couldn't resist getting some drone shots.
After this we drove to the opposite side of the island to a different kind of beach. On the way there we passed by a pineapple field and had a bit of trouble with our scooter.
I the afternoon, we went to a place called Banana Sunset to work a bit and enjoy the view and the sunset.

Have you ever heard of Koh Mak? I didn't even know that this beautiful island existed, before I started researching for our trip to Koh Chang. Originally, we wanted to go to Koh Kood, but when we found out about Koh Mak, we knew that we had to visit the tiny island.
Koh Mak is one of the least developed islands, which means that it's not too touristy. There are not a lot of places to stay on the island, and we had trouble finding a budget friendly resort – and then one day, we found one. Green View Resort was amazing, and for only 500 baht a night we had a whole bungalow to ourselves. And did I mention the view? It was an amazing experience, and the day we arrived we decided to extend our stay on Koh Mak. Everything was just too good not to!

It's another travel of impression; so beautiful beach, water clearly, white sand and peace place suitable for chill out truly, including local people is kind and smiley.
We was rowed the kayak to koh kham from koh mak. It takes about 30 mins to go there, about 1 km.
