Malý sestřih z toho mála vánočního a novoročního létání s malou multikoptérou DJI Phantom v Thajském zálivu, které se mě tam v prosinci 2014 a lednu 2015 podařilo. Jsou to 4 různá místa, nejdříve pár záběrů z malého ostrůvku Koh Rang v mořském národním parku Mu Koh Chang National Park, nalézajícím se v souostroví na jih od ostrova Koh Chang v Thajském zálivu, kde jsme se i potápěli a šnorchlovali.
Další záběry jsou již z Koh Changu, druhého největšího ostrova na jihovýchodě Thajska, hned vedle Kambodži. Natáčel jsem také nad vyhlášenou kokosovou pláží Klong Prao. Na východní, turisticky méně exponované straně ostrova jsem potom polétal nad opuštěným majákem Salak Phet, a nakonec v podvečer na Silvestra jsem ze vzduchu na samém jihu ostrova při západu slunce natočil i Bang Bao, což je původně rybářská vesnička s domky těsně oblepenými nad vodou kolem centrálního mola, dnes již plného různých obchodů, vyhlášených rybích a thajských restaurací, a turistických guesthousů.

The Ko Rang Pinnacles are the deepest dive site in the Ko Chang area and describe a massive boulder formation from 30m depth to just under the water surface. The boulders are not as coral rich as other dive sites around but the size and shapes of the boulders make for a truly unique dive experience.

Total Wipeout Floating Pier Ko Rang off Koh Chang Snorkelling Trip
On a snorkelling trip from Bang Bao (บางเบ้า) on Koh Chang (เกาะช้าง), Thailand, we docked at a floating pier (or jetty) to go to a beach on Ko Rang (เกาะรัง). The water was a bit choppy and the pier was made up of small plastic blocks, so moved with the waves; making it very difficult to walk on!
Most of the group fell over on their way to the beach, which was about a five minute walk from boat to shore. It was a bit like being a contestant on Total Wipeout

Koh Chang: Tauchen im Koh Rang Nationalpark
Wer auf Koh Chang Tauchen möchte hat die Wahl zwischen verschiedenen Tauchplätzen. Einige Tauchausflüge ab Koh Chang führen in den Koh Rang Nationalpark. Dort ist das Tauchen an Korallenriffen möglich. In diesem Video zeige ich Dir die Tauchspots Koh Laun und Koh Yak. Beide können mit einem OWD (Open Water Diver) Tauchschein betaucht werden.
Den Tauchausflug habe ich übrigens mit BB Divers Koh Chang unternommen. Startpunkt war der Bangbao Pier im Süden der Insel.

On Day 3, we went out for an amazing snorkeling experience at Koh Rang National Park. Koh Yak Lek is one of the tiny islands surrounding Koh Rang. It still holds its natural beauty with plenty of fish, different types of corals and sea anemones. Definitely the place where you can visit to escape from the busy city life!

This National Park is close to the island Koh Chang in Thailand and should not be confused with the cambodian Islands which has a similar name, Koh Rong.
