Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens and Ropeway on Mt Rokko! 布引ハーブ園ロープウエイ！
Hello Kawaii Curians hope you are all starting the new season with a bang! Today we go travelling to Kobe! Kobe is famous for its delicious beef/steak and for having influenced the naming of Kobe Bryant but did you know they have a really cool attraction called Nunobiki (Nuno waterfall) Herb Gardens and Ropeway located on the top of the famous Mount Rokko! You see they grow all kinds of herbs on the mountain in high elevation! How cool is that! Plus the scenery around the area including Nunobiki is just beautiful. This video was taken in Autumn a few months back so you'll notice the color leaves are just starting to change. If you ever do visit Kobe you must visit the area, its really nice with a sweeping view of the city landscape. Its hard to imagine that most of the city was destroyed by the powerful Hanshin Earthquake in 1995. Anyway as not many travellers visit here, we do believe it could be a better alternative to the usually insanely crowded areas of Kyoto. Enjoy =)

On the 2nd last day of our trip to Japan, we visited the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden, on top of a small mountain.
Despite the rain, the weather was cooling and the flowers were beautiful. We tried herb-made lunches and ice creams (e.g. lavender ice cream), which tasted surprisingly good!!
If you head down to Kobe, be sure to visit the Herb Garden, it's a simple train ride and cable car ride (or hike up) away! :)

Kobe Japan Nunobiki Herb Garden Travel Vlog
In this video I am in the Nunobiki Herb Garden located in the Kobe region of Japan. If you love plants and flowers as much as me, this is a must stop. You get the beautiful view of the City of Kobe from the top and you get to see all the beautiful flowers and plants on your way down. They have a glass house midway with tropical fruits and lilys that even has bananas. This is a little mini vlog of the experience.

Brief video of my riding the Kobe Herb Garden Ropeway up to the half-way point. You can actually board at the half-way point on your way out if you wanted to also. The Garden itself is a real calm and peaceful wonder. Filmed on Nov 2013. Really lovely, def recommend it, and planning to visit it again.

Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden Glasshouse (Greenhouse) in Shin-Kobe, Japan
Visited this wonderful place before, but missed out on the glasshouse by accident, so was able to see inside during my second visit here in November. The garden in whole I found to be a really peaceful and relaxing place, while def lovely & beautiful. The glasshouse def had it's own beauty too =)
