Come along with me on our day trip to Kobe! In this vlog we visit the Nunobiki Herb Gardens, take a hike down the mountain to Nunobiki Falls and then head into the city to visit an otter cafe!

Animal Kingdom Kobe - Japantrip 2017 #08
Wer verschiedenen Tieren sehr nahe sein möchte ist hier richtig. Der Streichelzoo mit Katzen, Hunden und Hasen ist zwar eher was für Japaner die keine Haustiere haben, der Teichbereich mit den Pelikanen, Flamingos, Enten, Stelzen und kleinem Rotwild ist aber sehr schön gemacht. Es gibt auch einen Kontaktbereich für kleine Papageien, Schildkröten, Kangoroos und Alpakkas. Die Vogelflugshow ist unterhaltsam und empfehlenswert.
Die Tiere werden scheinbar sehr gut gepflegt und die einzelnen Käfige sind ausreichend dimensioniert, dass man sich den Zoo mit gutem Gewissen ansehen kann. Alles in allem ein schöner, empfehlenswerter Vormittagsausflug.

In this video I tour around Harbordland in Kobe japan. The is a major tourist area full of restaurants, beautiful views, cool store, and much more. I few stops are: sega games, Hello Kitty store, Ultraman store, Totti's candy, and the water front, where I show you some great views.

Scenic Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden Japan
We took a sky gondola ride up the mountain to visit the famous Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden in Japan. Grandpa wanted to hike all the way up the mountain but we convinced him to take the ride up and then we hiked half way back down.
Kobe Animal Kingdom (神戸どうぶつ王国) November 2016 [Sony AX53]
Continuing our trip in Japan, here is another part of our Day 2 adventure to Kobe Animal Kingdom. The convenience of this location is that the train goes directly to this location. The only complaint that I have for this location is that I needed more time. Even though we had already spent a good amount of time here I did not see everything because I was having so much fun and spending too much time in certain areas. I heard the loud speaker say that they would be closing and had to rush to see the rest of the animals (I still missed some of the animals). It was really loud here so I added music found on the YouTube editor choices.
For families who visit Kobe Animal Kingdom along with a longer stay, I recommend looking at the map and time schedules. They have feeding and shows throughout the site and even though the area itself is fairly small, it takes a long time to discover everything. You can feed several different animals and they have wash stations so you don't have to worry about cleaning your hands. There are so many photo opportunities so make sure your memory card is not full, but most of all just go and enjoy. I felt like a kid here. Truly a magical place~!

Beautiful hiking trail around Kobe & the mountains.
Quick video to show you some good views of Kobe from above. If you take the hiking trail from Kitano to this lovely waterfall in amongst the mountains, along the way you will get to see great views of kobe city from above.
We even got to see Kobe-Shin Station where several bullet trains were departing. Amongst the trees you can also get views of the cable cars going up and down the rope way. This is a good way to get out of the city and explore the beautiful nature Japan has to offer.

Hiking in Japan - Trip to Rokko-san 六甲山 and Arima 有馬温泉
Few days ago we went for a hiking trip to Arima-onsen via Mt. Rokko. Finally it is cooler and sunny so we could fully enjoy the beautiful trail and views from Rokko-san. We reached Mt. Rokko peak for the first time!
Former Kobe Kachoen (now called Kobe Animal Kingdom) | 元神戸花鳥園（現在神戸どうぶつ王国）
I visited this park back in 2014 before management shifted to Kobe Animal Kingdom during the middle of year, although it is essentially the same park.
It is a blend between a botanical garden and a a giant bird aviary. There are also some fish in a couple of ponds around the place, including humongous Doctor Fish. Many of the birds fly or swim around in large, plant filled enclosures, and if you're willing to pay a couple of hundred yen for food they'll come to you to eat it!
Overall a really pleasant day!! ^_^

実は v.2 では動画の水平補正が出来ていませんでした。
動画編集ソフト Filmora が機能不足で出来なかったのです。いろいろ試し（というほど Mac 用の安価なソフトは多くないことがわかりました...）、Premeire Pro Element か Final Cut Pro X で迷い、結局 FCPX に決めました。欲しかった Premiere Pro CC はコスト的に見送り...
これにより水平補正問題が解決したので、v.3 として公開しました。v.3 と言ってますが、元ソースが同じ、というだけでイチから編集し直しました。なので、カット割りやテキスト周り、トランジションや BGM など全て変わっています。冒頭の JR 三田駅前で無料送迎バスを探してウロウロするシーンはカットw
なお BGM & Youtube への UP のためだけに Filmora を使っています。
