GIMA band is the first Mongolian Morin Khuur and Guitar fusion band in South East Asia. Dong Shan is the first single by the band released in March 2017. GIMA blends ancient folk cultures with a modern style and creates new sound scapes with their arrangements. They enjoy exploring the musical cultures of Asia, creating cultural music exchange and collaborating with other musicians.

Under the theme of Approaching Tokyo Tradition, Arts Council Tokyo is holding various programs aiming to communicate the tradtional arts and culture of Japan both domestically and overseas, and to encourage young generation to inherit the Japanese tradition.
As a part of this programs, in Traditional Arts Program encompassing a wide range of classical performing arts, including Noh theater, traditional Japanese music, Nihon buyo dance, yose vaudeville performances, and Dai-dengaku dance, it featured accessible, yet authentic performances – including some with audience participation – by first-rate performers, targeting young people, foreign visitors and others unfamiliar with these arts.
