Walking towards Edo-Tokyo Open Air Museum in Koganei. It's about 2km walk from the Musashi-Koganei Station. Would definetly recommend the place if you are interested about how home life in Japan has changed . Volunteer staff is extremely helpful and informative

Koganei Park spans four cities. Koganei City, Kodaira City, Nishi-tokyo City and Musashino City. It is a very large park.
Cherry blossom season, cherry-blossom viewing is thriving.
But I like silent winter and the hot summer season.
EDO - TOKYO OPEN AIR ARCHITECTURAL MUSEUM is adjacent to the Koganei park. You can see the history and culture of Japanese buildings.
Koganei Park Sakura April 2016
Koganei Park is second largest park in the Metropolitan Tokyo Area, and situated along the Tama River water supply. I took this video on the last few days of the Sakura Season. This is one the nicest spots for Hanami.

都立小金井公園のフリーマーケット Flea Market in Koganei Park, Tokyo
Flea markets are often take place on weekends in Koganei Park, Kodaira-shi, Tokyo.
On December 4, 2011, I and my wife Saru-chan from Thailand went to the park and happened to see the flea market.
Foreign people can also open the shop but professionals can't. The cost for opening the shop varies by organizing society. Usually it is 1,500 yen to 2,000 yen.
