Modulator 6024B Kokololio Beach Park 4-28-2016
HAUULA, Hawaii- Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (Hawaii EMA), together with the City and County of Honolulu Department of Emergency Management conducted siren testing at Kokololio Beach Park Thursday April 28, 2016 at about 11:10 AM.
These new sirens are part of the Statewide Siren Modernization Project. Residents nearby may hear the siren sound six to eight times for 30-second to one-minute intervals during the identified timeframe. Testing will include short blasts known as “burps.” During the tests, emergency management officials and technicians will check that installation work on this siren has been completed properly.
Questions regarding this test should be directed to the City and County of Honolulu Department of Emergency Management at (808) 723-8960.
Hawaii EMA encourages the public to make use of other supplemental methods of warning including, but not limited to, the City & County of Honolulu’s mass text notification system, Nixle, and NOAA Weather Radio.

record collections, brought it out in 1970 from Surinam to the Netherlands and 1980 to the US and today 2009 in Hawaii. Try a Little Love is a time to Remember Oscar Harris and The Twinkle Stars

Sacred Falls - Oahu, Hawaii
Sacred Falls is a 4.5 mile round trip hike located near Hauula, Hawaii. It has a waterfall, river, bamboo forest and lush tropical forest. It is rated as difficult for several reasons. The slippery rocks, river crossings, very narrow trail at the edge of cliffs and the canyon walls that tower each side of the waterfall.
The trail was closed 20 years ago when eight people were killed in a landslide. This makes the hike a huge risk to those who dare attempt it with possible huge fines if caught.
The locals say this is the place of Kamapua'a (a demi god that play's tricks). The energy is very strong in this area and I suggest being very respectful of your surroundings while hiking.

howzitboy hikes:Camping at Kualoa beach park
Yay! Finally got to go camping with my daughters again! This time we did Kualoa beach park again! Love that place!! The permit was from friday all the way to wedn but we were all too busy so we did it on the last day (tuesday). When we got there, someone was in our spot!! They had the spot next to the water but I guess a storm washed all the sand over their spot so they just moved over a bit. No problems, super nice people who left after a while. They even had one of those big pop up tents break on them in the wind, so they just tossed it out!! $$$
Super fun place to camp, bathrooms right there, security checks your permits and they close the gate at like 8? 9pm? The stars were soooo bright (compared to the city) but it was cold! and windy! And just our luck, right in the middle of the night we found out my daughters $30 DonQ tent leaks in the rain!! they got soaked! So they just squeezed their way in my tent and we was good to go!
