Shinkansen from Tokyo as far as we could then private rail to Komagane.
Lunch by the station and taxi to an amazing Ryokan in the hills.
Dinner at a nearby beer hall.
Early morning amazing breakfast, like blow my mind amazing.
Then the distillery! Mars Whisky Distillery. The tourist draw card for this one is still small so the tour is self guided :D
We meandered around town on the way back finding some amazing little shrines and temples, then grabbed our bags and it was back to Tokyo.
Thank you Komagane! You are stunning.

There's nothing can beat the best feelings when you go around the city anywhere in Japan with bicycle.
Visiting shrines feel the peacefulness, go to the park that is recovering from the terrible typhoon, seen a lot of fallen trees but they do maintain to clean the mess. *big applause!!*
This time I only go to Matsubara and Sakai, but I'm sure one day I'd go all over Japan with bicycle, though that sounds crazy, but... I love it!

2018 十国峠と三島スカイウオークからの富士(4K) Mt. Fuji At Jyukkoku Pass & Mishima Skywalk(UHD)
箱根の南、熱海から山側に登った伊豆半島の付根にある十国峠は、その標高766mの日金山の山頂から十国五島（伊豆・駿河・遠江・甲斐・信濃・武蔵・上総・下総・安房・相模、大島・新島・神津島・三宅島・利島]）を展望できるといわれる絶景の場所である。また、三島スカイウオークは2015年に三島市の山間に作られた観光用の吊り橋で歩行者専用の吊り橋としては大分県にある九重大橋を抜いて最長となった。富士山や駿河湾の眺望が素晴らしい。
Jyukkoku Pass is located at the south of Hakone and the mountain side of Atami hotspring. Jyukkoku means Jyu-Kok=Ten Countries.
It is said that from the top of Jyukkoku pass, ten Japanese ancient territories could be seen. That is the origin of the name.
Mishima Skywalk is a rope bridge for people's walking built in 2015.
It is a longest lope bridge in Japan for sightseeing purpose. From where we can have a very good view of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay.

Japan - Everyone needs a picture with Kenna
Osaka, Japan April 3rd 2009. During a trip to the Osaka Castle Museum, locals scoop up our 2 year old daughter Kenna and play hot potato as they take turns ensuring they get a picture with her. It was common while we were there for the locals throughout our trip to want to hold or take pictures with Kenna. They particularly were drawn to her blond curly hair. Was a great trip, would like to go again in the future.
