Japan VLog day 4&5 (Komagane)

The 4th and 5th day in Japan during 2017 Full write up in the website and blog link below, but if your not a fan of clicking elswere and reading long arcs of text with some pretty snaps thrown in heres the gist:
Shinkansen from Tokyo as far as we could then private rail to Komagane.
Lunch by the station and taxi to an amazing Ryokan in the hills.
Dinner at a nearby beer hall.
Early morning amazing breakfast, like blow my mind amazing.
Then the distillery! Mars Whisky Distillery. The tourist draw card for this one is still small so the tour is self guided :D
We meandered around town on the way back finding some amazing little shrines and temples, then grabbed our bags and it was back to Tokyo.

Japan - Everyone needs a picture with Kenna

Osaka, Japan April 3rd 2009. During a trip to the Osaka Castle Museum, locals scoop up our 2 year old daughter Kenna and play hot potato as they take turns ensuring they get a picture with her. It was common while we were there for the locals throughout our trip to want to hold or take pictures with Kenna. They particularly were drawn to her blond curly hair. Was a great trip, would like to go again in the future.

For this 3 day trip we will be checking out some of the popular attractions in the city of Nagoya, before travelling back in time to the Kiso valley to explore the beautifully post towns of Magome and Tsumago, partake in a calligraphy experience at Ochiaijuku, and end the trip with a visit at Iida's Puppet museum as well as a boat cruise along the Tenryu River.
