Kongoshoji temple in Ise city, Mie pref. （金剛證寺）
Kongoshoji temple is located almost on the top of Mt. Asama in the Ise-Shima National Park in Mie prefecture.
The location of the temple makes it difficult for ordinary travelers to approach, but I think it's worth visiting with your efforts.
The view from the top of Mt. Asama is also really amazing.

Mt. Asama is the highest mountain in the Ise-Shima national park in Mie prefecture.
The mountain is located by the highest-ranking shinto shrine, the inner shrine of the Ise grand shrines.
If you come to the shrine in car, the mountain could be the next destination of your trip in Ise city.

20th. June 2013......It rained and the morning was cloudy ..... so we didn't get to see the sun rising from in between the 2 rocks .... We saw the Rising Sun everyday though .... our coach was appropriately called the Rising Sun

途中の三重県いなべ市には宇賀渓、滋賀県東近江市には愛知川渓谷などの景勝地があり、永源寺は紅葉の名所である。三重・滋賀県境付近から永源寺ダム付近にかけては道幅が狭く、夏場と紅葉時期の週末はたびたび渋滞を起こす。なかでも鈴鹿山脈を越える石榑峠（いしぐれとうげ）は、2t以上の車両は通行禁止であり、冬期閉鎖となっていたが、この区間をトンネルでバイパスする「石榑峠道路」が2011年3月26日に開通した。 wiki

Yokoyama observatory commands a fine view of the beautiful Agowan bay below.
The scene from here is frequently used in lots of media when talking about the beauty of Mie prefecture.
The transportation is not very good around this spot, but still I think this site is worth visiting when you come to Shima city of Mie prefecture.

Ise Jingu is considered the noblest sanctuary and the spiritual home of the japaneese people. Among a beautiful forest and holy river there are 125 shinto shrines including Kotaijingu -Naiku- and Toyokedaijingu -Geku- as the center of them. Meoto Iwa or Loved one-and-loved one Rocks, are a couple of small rocky stacks in the sea joined by a shimenawa (a heavy rope of rice straw) and are considered sacred. They are part of the mithology of Japan´s origin.
Ise Jingu es el principal santuario y centro espiritual del pueblo japonés. En el entorno de un frondoso bosque y un rio sagrado hay 125 santuarios incluyendo Kotaijingu -Naiku- y Toyokedaijingu -Geku- que son los principales. Meoto Iwa -las rocas casadas- son un par de farallones unidos por una shimenawa (pesada soga de paja de arroz) y son consideradas sagradas siendo parte de la mitología del origen de Japón.
