Why Do It? Biking in the Nelson and Kootenay Lake region.
In keeping with the Nelson Kootenay Lake culture, our mountain bike trails appeal to the spirit of mountain biking: We’ve got gentle railway grades that start minutes from downtown and take you for kilometer after kilometer along forest trails, over restored trestle bridges and into some of the most peaceful country you’ll ever encounter. But for those of you who need to feel their heart beating and love the surge of adrenaline pumping through their veins, we’ve got what you need: steep, rocky technical tracks and enough stunts, ladders and big drops to keep you coming back and calling out for more.
Why Do It? Visit Kaslo and Kootenay Lake.
Why do it? Why explore Kaslo and Kootenay Lake: because it's amazing! The activities and adventures in Kaslo and the Nelson and Kootenay Lake area are endless. Hiking, biking, paddling, skiing, festivals, events, markets and more. Come visit Kaslo!

We're In NELSON!
Hanging out on Hall Street in historic Nelson, BC, Canada, Jen I talk over the four days of adventure we experienced in this gem of the Kootenays. We talk about the amazing dog walk, shopping, why I can’t fly Sparky and of course, mountain biking. We discuss the mountain biking trails in Nelson - different from most other places we’ve been. And we also chat about the importance of using the Trailforks app to navigate our way around the mountain trails. Oh, and don’t miss the outtake at the end! :-)

Nelson Road Trip 2019
Labour day weekend has quickly become the bike trip of the year for me and the boys.
For 2019 we set sights on Nelson, B.C. A quiet town nestled deep into the Kootenay's, 8 hours east of Vancouver.
The riding in town is diverse, from huge 1500m descents, to wooden stunts, and rocky trails. We spent 6 days riding as much as we could.
Put Nelson on your list, you wont be disappointed!

NELSON BC CANADÁ T04EP85
Dia 467 e 468
15 e 16/07/2019
