STORYLINE:
Prince Charles sampled brandy made by monks as he toured a monastery near the Serbian city of Novi Sad on Thursday.
He also watched beeswax candles being made using traditional production techniques.
Later, he got on a hollowed-out boat to explore nearby Kovilj-Petrovaradin marshes.

Na svega par kilometara od Beočina, a petnaestak kilometara od Novog Sada nalazi se jedan od fruškogorskih manastira - Manastir Beočin.
Manastir koji već više od 40 godina pazi i neguje sestrinstvo na čelu sa Igumanijom Ekatarinom.

Nedeljnik Vreme je juče objavio članak sa videom o prebijanju kao metodi lečenja narkomana u Duhovno rehabilitacionom centru Crna reka. Rad centra je blagoslovio vladika Artemije, a država Srbija je dala dozvolu za rad. Video možete pogledati ispod.

Inače je Protojerej Branislav Peranović, koji rukovodi Duhovno-rehabilitacionim centrom u Crnoj Reci, za B92 danas rekao da je kroz taj centar prošlo skoro 1.000 ljudi i da je, s obzirom na vrstu zavisnosti, čvrsta ruka neophodna i da ne misli ništa dobro o batinama, kao što ne misli ni o amputaciji, ali je ona ponekad neophodna. Mi ponekad primenjujemo silu, naravno, u dogovoru sa roditeljima, a štićenici su na vreme upozoreni da nećemo tolerisati kršenje naših pravila. Onaj ko ima narkomana u kući, najbolje zna o čemu pičam.

in center for curing drug addicts and these are some of the methods employees in that center used for curing the addicts. Hitting with a shovel, kicking and punching in the head and body and many more cruel physical means of
healing. Public called it Serbian Guantanamo. To make things even more bizarre this center works on monastery grounds and use it's rooms (you can see icons on the walls) and it's blessed by church officials.
Most of the public is against this, but since this is the center for drug addicts, some consider this is one of the few means that have results in such situation
