町石道（ちょういしみち）は、慈尊院（和歌山県伊都郡九度山町）から高野山（和歌山県伊都郡高野町）へ通じる高野山の表参道です。 Choishi-michi is the Omotesando of Koyasan that leads from Jison-in (Kudoyama-cho, Ito-gun, Wakayama) to Koya-san (Takano-cho, Ito-gun, Wakayama).
弘法大師が高野山を開山して以来の信仰の道とされてきました。 It has been a religious path since Kobo Daishi opened Koyasan.

2018台風21号被害の高野山奥の院
Koyasan Okunoin damaged by The 21th Typhoon(Maymay) . 台風21号関西上陸の翌々日(2018.09.06)に高野山に行きました。 高野山ケーブルカーは不通で橋本から代替バス。 高野山の街は奥の院も含め大きい杉木立が倒れており台風の凄まじさが現れていました。
