Krakow Airport Terminal 1 Tour - Krakow International Airport Information
This is a walk inside Krakow Airport named John Paul II International Airport Krakow Balice. The film footage starts with the arrival at Krakow Airport (KRK) outside the main departure terminal (Terminal 1). Viewers will notice that there is allot of construction work in the area, this is because Krakow Airport is undergoing a major modernization program.
The footage starts with the main check-in area located in the terminal. Once check-in has taken place we move upstairs to where the security control and gates are located. Just when you get up the stairs passengers will find a large cafeteria / restaurant where they can have a drink or snack before their flight (this is also a perfect place to have a drink or snack with non-passengers before a flight. After passing the security control we find ourselves inside the very small departure area where the gates are also located. Viewers are given a view of this terminal and the duty free shops, kiosks, bars, snack bars, lavatories and Business Lounge service this area has to offer. Viewers are then given a view out of the windows which face the runway (not a very busy runway) which give the passengers a nice view of some of the airport activities. The footage ends with the boarding process at Krakow Airport where passengers are driven by bus to their respective aircraft.
Wiki writes about Krakow Airport, John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice (Polish: Kraków Airport im. Jana Pawła II since 4 September 2007; earlier in Polish: Międzynarodowy Port Lotniczy im. Jana Pawła II Kraków–Balice) (IATA: KRK, ICAO: EPKK) is an international airport located near Kraków, in the village of Balice, 11 km (6.8 mi) west[1] of the city centre, in southern Poland....In 2003, when Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair became interested in starting a service from the John Paul II International Airport, the airport authorities refused to reduce the landing fees. In response, the regional authorities of Kraków and Lesser Poland Voivodeship decided to build a new airport near the existing one, using the infrastructure of the military airbase adjacent to the shared runway. Finally an agreement was reached, and the existing airport was opened to Ryanair and other low-cost carriers such as Germanwings, EasyJet, and Centralwings...
Wiki writes about Krakow (Kraków), Krakow, a southern Poland city near the border of the Czech Republic, is known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter. Old Town – ringed by Planty Park and remnants of the city’s medieval walls – is centered on the stately, expansive Rynek Glówny (market square), site of Cloth Hall, a Renaissance-era trading outpost, and St. Mary’s Basilica, a 14th-century Gothic church...
This Krakow Airport terminal review is filmed at Krakow Airport (KRK) (Terminal 1) and includes a walk through the airport from arrival to embarkation of our Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt.

Krakow Hotels - Sheraton Krakow Hotel Review - Club room with club lounge access
Krakow Travel Vlog. This is a hotel tour / review of the Krakow Sheraton in Krakow, Poland. The tour includes views of the Club Room, Club Lounge, breakfast buffet and the huge open plan lobby. During April around Easter we stayed at the Krakow Sheraton, which is a five star luxury hotel located on the banks of the Vistula River, next to the Wawel Castle in Krakow, Poland. We stayed in one of the Club Rooms which also included free access to the hotel´s Club Lounge and had also pre-ordered the breakfast buffet.

OUR HOTEL IN KRAKOW & WHAT DOES IT COST?
We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Krakow. Visit Tripadvisor to view photos, read reviews and see WHAT THIS HOTEL COSTS (the following link is an Advertisement link which will take you to the TripAdvisor site)
The video footage begins outside the hotel where the viewer is given a view of the hotel from outside. We then move inside to the hotel´s lobby / reception area (guests with Club Rooms have their own check-in area). We then proceed up to the fourth floor where all Club Rooms are located. The footage follows the passage way to our Club Room, where the viewer is given a tour of the room, the bathroom and the view of the Vistula River and Wawel Castle. The room offered some nice touches among which included a welcoming plate of fruit and a Krakow Dragon bath toy in the bathroom (the Dragon is the symbol of Krakow).
Notable facilities in the room included a Nespresso machine, an Ipod Bluetooth speaker for iPhones and Android devices, a 32 inch television with free on-demand movies for Club Room guests and a Cisco systems IP telephone with various information provided on it´s LCD screen. Other room facilities included an Iron, Ironing board and a PIN code electronic safety box. The bathroom offered the usual amenities found in luxury hotels (actually most hotels nowadays). After the first night we were given double amenities as we are a two people in the room. The marble floored bathroom also included a scale and a bathtub and shower. Unfortunately the bath and shower were not separate (one would expect that of a 5 star hotel) but none the less the water pressure and heat regulation worked very well and there was plenty of hot water. All in all a very nice room!
The video footage then focuses on the breakfast buffet which was fantastic, it is difficult to think of anything that someone could miss from the huge selection of the Sheraton Krakow Breakfast Buffet. Food is beautifully presented and includes cold cuts (meats and fish), yogurts and cheeses, fruit, fresh juices, an egg station from were you can order eggs prepared to your liking and a bread / toast pastry area and more. The breakfast is very worthwhile and give the traveler lots of energy for a long day of sightseeing around Krakow.
Next the footage moves on to the Sheraton Krakow Club Lounge from where lounge guests are treated to free non and alcoholic beverages and snacks and a private lounge area exclusively for club guests. Alcoholic drinks included red wine, white whine and beer (surprisingly there was no Sparkling Wine which we have had at a competing hotel´s Club Lounge). Drinks and snacks in the Club Lounge are self service and during the day the snacks available with a drink are very dull indeed. The day snacks consist of chips, crackers, some marinated mushrooms / olives and some nuts (we would have expected some cakes or sandwiches which again we have experienced at a competing hotels Club Lounge - the Krakow Sheraton should definitely consider adding some small sandwiches to the daytime snacks available in the Club Lounge). During the evening the Club Lounge makes up for the dull daytime snacks, when the table is filled up with delicious snacks / Canapés, desserts soups and a few hot fish and meat snacks. These snacks were beautifully presented and very tasty (big thumbs up to the Krakow Sheraton´s evening snack selection in the Club Lounge). The Club Lounge also includes a small business area where travelers have access to use (free of charge) two computers and a printer. We hope that you enjoy watching our tour / review of the five Star Krakow Sheraton hotel. This hotel is very well located just a short walk from many of the main attractions in Krakow City. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay here again if we return to Krakow, Poland - however we do hope that the daytime snacks in the Club Lounge will be improved.

Polska - Poland - Let's go to Krakow - Wawel 2017
We started our journey in Ireland. Accidentally, we found out such an amazing crochet art just in front of some shops and then we went to the Shannon Airport. We landed in Warszawa (Warsaw), capital city of Poland, and spent a few days relaxing, knitting and eating. We visited a few family places and then we went to Krakow to see Market and Wawel Castle.
We paid to see extras but well there are other castles in Poland which have better collections. Unfortunately, lots of items were taken during WWII.
However, it is a must to go and see the architecture. You pass the gates and for FREE have a nice walk to admire surrounding areas.
Oh yes, yes this castle has its own dragon and don't forget about the Krakow Anthem - during the Mongol invasion the thrumpeter warned the city but it cost him his own life. The anthem ends abruptly as during his warning he was shot in the throat. The city was saved from Tatars attack.
PS. Have you noticed white carriages they have 4 routes starting from 15min up and the price is from 150zl (€45) up... or 100zl (€20) well something like this.
Any questions write in the comments.
See you in the next one,

Kraków (Poland)
Kraków (also Cracow, or Krakow) is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Situated on the Vistula River (Polish: Wisła) in the Lesser Poland region, the city dates back to the 7th century. Kraków has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, cultural, and artistic life and is one of Poland's most important economic hubs.
Kraków is classified as a global city by GaWC, with the ranking of High sufficiency. Cited as one of Europe's most beautiful cities, its extensive cultural heritage across the epochs of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture includes the Wawel Cathedral and the Royal Castle on the banks of the Vistula river, the St. Mary's Basilica and the largest medieval market square in Europe, the Rynek Główny. Kraków is home to Jagiellonian University, one of the oldest universities in the world and traditionally Poland's most reputable institution of higher learning.
In 2000, Kraków was named European Capital of Culture. The city will also host the next World Youth Day in 2016. The metropolitan city of Kraków is known as the city of churches.
Kraków is divided into 18 administrative districts (dzielnica) or boroughs, each with a degree of autonomy within its own municipal government. Prior to March 1991, the city had been divided into four quarters which still give a sense of identity to Kraków – the towns of Podgórze, Nowa Huta, and Krowodrza which were absorbed by Kraków as it expanded, and the ancient town centre of Kraków itself.
Matejko Square at Kleparz is one of the city's more important public spaces.
The oldest neighborhoods of Kraków were incorporated into the city before the late 18th century. They include the Old Town (Stare Miasto), once contained within the city defensive walls and now encircled by the Planty park; the Wawel District, which is the site of the Royal Castle and the cathedral; Stradom and Kazimierz, the latter originally divided into Christian and Jewish quarters; as well as the ancient town of Kleparz.
Major landmarks include the Main Market Square with St. Mary's Basilica and the Sukiennice Cloth Hall, the Wawel Castle, the National Art Museum, the Zygmunt Bell at the Wawel Cathedral, and the medieval St Florian's Gate with the Barbican along the Royal Coronation Route. Kraków has 28 museums and public art galleries. Among them are the main branch of Poland's National Museum and the Czartoryski Museum, the latter featuring works by Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt.
Public transport is based on a fairly dense network of tram and bus lines operated by a municipal company, supplemented by a number of private minibus operators. Local trains connect some of the suburbs. The bulk of the city's historic area has been turned into a pedestrian zone with rickshaws and horse buggies; however, the tramlines run within a three-block radius. The historic means of transportation in the city can be examined at the Museum of Municipal Engineering in the Kazimierz district, with many old trams, cars and buses.
Rail connections are available to most Polish cities. Trains to Warsaw depart every hour. International destinations include Berlin, Budapest, Prague, Hamburg, Lviv, Kiev, and Odessa (June–September). The main railway station is located just outside the Old Town District and is well-served by public transport.
Kraków's airport (John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice) is 11 km (7 mi) west of the city. Direct trains cover the route between Kraków Główny train station and the airport in 15 minutes. The Katowice International Airport is located about 75 minutes from Kraków.
Narrow streets, horses, Wawel, Old Town, Kazimierz and friendly people... Krakow is very atmospheric city. One of the oldest in Poland and definitely one of the most beautiful. Perfect city for families as well as for active youth. Everybody will find something interesting to do in this city, although it's not very big. I highly recommend Krakow for a weekend if you want to feel the real atmosphere and hospitality of Poland :)

Airport Krakow(Balice) - Full Review.
John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice. Full review - (parking, security control, chick in,observation deck,0 floor,1 floor, departure lounge)
We didn’t expect KRAKOW Airport to be big!
Kraków Airport is the second busiest airport in the country after Warsaw Chopin Airport. The airport has good growth prospects, as almost 8 million people live within 100 km (62 mi) of it. The airport also has a favorable location on the network of existing and planned motorways in this region of Poland.
