Here was an epic ride day with MTB Legend Darren Berrecloth. Throughout the day Maui Riders were able to ride with Darren as he shredded the forest. The dirt was just right and the day was spectacular!
Ride Maui, Skyline Trail, Maui Hawaii
Here are the boys from Cinevzn SHREDDING down Haleakala's Skyline Trail. Skyline is Maui's spectacular downhill trail with single track as well as open field track. The trail is about 6.8 miles in length and descends about 3000 feet of vertical. Do not miss out on this AMAZING trail!

Maui Flow - Pineapple Express - Makawao Trail System - Maui, HI - Mountain Biking
Thanks to Krank Cycles and Moonlight Leatherfoot for getting married, I ended up getting my first opportunity to ride bike outside the continental US. We hit the Pineapple Express trail at the Makawao Trail System. Although you can't really tell in the edit, the ground was extremely muddy. There had been a huge storm system that just rolled through and the ground didn't have any time to dry out before we were up there trying to make a day of it. #HawaiiMTB #FlowTrail #MTBvacation

Hawaii’s Biggest Mountain Bike Jumps | Destination Maui
Join me as I explore Maui’s best mountain biking destination: the Makawao Forest Reserve. I knew I had to bring my bike to Maui while on vacation to see what they had to offer. A huge thanks to Krank Cycles and TJ for helping me find my way around and for pointing me to some of the biggest mountain bike jumps on Hawaii. Mountain Biking Maui, Hawaii Kahakapao Trail System
Bucket List Ride in Maui, Hawaii! This is the Kahakapao Trail System in Makawao Forest Reserve. A variety of different scenery on this ride. Green lush landscape on rock formations to rustic foliage from the enormous bamboo trees. They have top notch skills loops too to work on technical riding. Krank Cycles in town was a great resource for a rental bike and knowledge of the trails, highly recommend them (link below). If you have the opportunity to go to Maui don't hesitate to ride : )
Maui Makawao Forest Reserve father son mountain bike session
There was tons of fun to be had at the Kahakapao Recreational Area in the Makawao Forest Reserve on Maui. An incredible downhill trail called Pineapple Express, single track endure-type trails, a great jump park with a pump track, beginner jumps, and the bigger stuff like in this video. Thanks to the Maui Mountain Bike Coalition for building a rad park. The stoke was high that day.

Maui Mountain Biking featuring Boundary Trail UNCUT
This film is an uncut ride down Maui's best descent trail. Boundary trail is within the Pool Poli State Park in Kula, Hawaii. It's a 1,400 vertical foot descent over a 4 mile trail. The first few miles are mostly downhill with the final mile having easy to ride ups and downs.
Riding Boundary trail is an amazing downhill riding experience! The trail is within the Poli Poli State Recreational Park in Kula, Maui, Hawaii. The Boundary trailhead can be found on the right just after the cattle guard a short distance into the dirt road ride. Boundary is a 4 mile long single track that drops over 1,400 vertical feet from beginning to end, though there is more than descending to this trail. The first section is full-on downhill with tight switchbacks, off camber side slopes and wet and dry surface conditions. After that you will have several fairly easy hike-A-bike climbs and a narly but manageable hike-A-bike down and up a rocky ravine. Some fairly easy climbs will also be required. The final 1.5 miles of trail takes you into the misty old growth woods. Short technical climbs sprinkled in with loomy descents are the name of the game.
Overall the ride requires some bike handling and climbing skills to be enjoyed. The trail is not for the beginner (as you'll see in the video).
This video shows a top to bottom UNCUT ride down Boundary Trail. This is presonally my favorite Maui trail!
