The residential house of Firsts Lievens was built in around 1822 in the style of classicism. The manor complex features the manager’s house, coach house, cattle yard, Swiss House, etc. For 95 years already, a rehabilitation institution, which offers accommodation services as well, has been operating at the manor. Tasting events of fruit and floral wines are offered to the guests of the manor by prior arrangement.

One Night in Sigulda, Latvia at Aparjods
Old Sigulda Castle was the last of the three today. Enough! A short bus transfer to the very, very nice Aparjods with individual units and great rooms. Murphy''s Law that the one-nighters always have the nicest rooms.
Aparjods also had a truly great restaurant with delicious food. Tomorrow, we'd bus back into Estonia and ferry over to Muhu and Saaremaa Islands for something a little different...

Sigulda Riga Latvia Travel Video DJI Osmo 4K 2017 a two part video of my Riga trip. It was the first time I travelled alone. The original plan was to go to Riga and Estonia. However, I cancelled my Estonia trip and asked one of my Latvian friend for recommendations and she suggested to visit Sigulda. It was amazing. I walked from the bus station to the castle. I walked along the highway, it was scary but man, I made it!
