Kroombit Dam Over Flowing - Biloela QLD
The Kroombit Dam overflowing and thankfully has eased off. You can see the water breaking about a metre from the top. The other day it was flowing over the water wasn't breaking until it was three quarters down the spillway.
Australia Day Flood 2013 Biloela QLD Part 2 - Callide Dam
This is Callide Creek at 1:30 PM on Saturday January 26 2013. Starting at Callide dam inflow at about it's peak level of nearly 9 metres, Then I move to the dam wall and below to the first crossing after. A few hours later the dam discharge increased and water went over the callide creek bridge on the Dawson highway. Kroombit creek and Grevillea creeks on the other side of town had both burst their banks and joined together and spread out across the flat towards town, draining into washpool creek and cutting the Dawson Hwy again at Linkes & Tognolini-Baldwin Rds intersection

This is the first time Andrew and the crew from Kroombit Station have been able to cross the spill water from Kroombit Dam. In other footage you can see how high the water has been well over the roof of any car or truck. They were happy to be able to go and do some much needed shopping. Cheers Andrew.
