How to get to Krui Sumatra - Surf trip, come along for the adventure while I solo - woman travel in Sumatra for a month. Getting to Krui is a challenge and a long drive but super worth it! It's a sick town, great waves and I met the most incredible people there! The Krui Pro Surf Contest had just ended and the vibes were high!

BeOcean Surf Camp, Krui, South Sumatra
BeOcean offers a stylish yet homey feel combined with an incredibly warm and happy vibe thanks to its owners (Alicia & Max). Just like its accommodation, the food is excellent with some of the healthiest dishes you’ll experience in West Sumatra. Situated in front of a left hander (Leftovers) and a right hander (The Peak), guests can surf all day long in this little slice of paradise.

SURF TRASH CHALLENGE 2017 KRUI INDONESIA SUMATRA BALI
Hey guys,
here are Marina, Nicole, Thilo, Matthias, Julian and Kris.
We are Surfers from germany and met here in Krui, Sumatra in Indonesia. Because there is so many rubbish lying around the beaches here, we decided to grab some bags and collect as much rubbish as we can and it was recycled properly by the government.
In total we collected 40 different kind of plastics, many bottles, cigarettes and cartons.
Luckily also many of the local guys joined our rubbish session and tried to help us. It was really nice to work together with those lovely people and do something good for our planet.
We did this video to share our trash-collecting-session and motivate you to share your own video with your bag of rubbish and also nominate at least three friends to do so.
Join the Surf Trash Challenge 2017 and help to keep the beautiful beaches as beautiful as they are.
