China Highway:G217 天山独库公路

China National Highway G217 located in Xinjiang province,from the Altai Mountains in the north to the Kunlun Mountains in the south , straight through Tianshan mountains, this video shooting it's Tianshan section. Each winter and spring, high altitude section covered with several meters deep snow,need people use machine dig the road from snow. But lower altitude section relatively warm and green. In this highway,can experience from winter to summer at same day. Tianshan is the largest mountain range in central Asia, 2400km long,tallest peak more than 7400m elevation. This highway's Tianshan section build between 1974-1984, highest tunnel 3390m elevation(at that time it's also the highest tunnel in China),168 people died for build this way.
