Ammonite at the seashore at sunrise
An ammonite-octopus hybrid image at the seashore in Hitachi, Ibaraki, Japan. This artwork and the wooden stage was prepared specially for the event Art-Beach Kujihama, an event organized by the Hitachi city office to follow-up the festival KENPOKU-ART 2016.
The Future of Ammonite
Installation of a hybrid image titled The Future of Ammonite at the art space specially assembled at Kujihama beach in Hitachi, Ibaraki, Japan through 29 July and 20 August, 2017. When viewed from far it appears to be an ammonite, while viewed from near it's an octopus. For extinct ammonites, present is the future, and they are thought to be closely related to today's octopuses.

[V0113]の一部区間です。茨城県日立（ひたち）市の国道6号は、海と山に挟まれた割と細長い区域を南北に貫く一本道の幹線になっていて、意外と渋滞していますが、この渋滞を解消しようと海沿いバイパスが整備され始めています。海沿い快走区間がさらに延びる計画になっているため、個人的にはどんな道路に発展するか、少し楽しみな区間だったりします。静岡県静岡市から焼津（やいづ）市に向かう大崩（おおくずれ）海岸にかかる海上橋のように少し海に飛び出す海上橋が素敵な区間です。 ぜひ、絶景眺望走行動画など、ドライブ気分に浸って頂き、満喫頂ければと思います。
