Namma kukkarahalli kere
It is a video to depict the bio-diversity of kukkarahalli lake, which is located in the heart of Mysore city, Karnataka. The lake which was built by then king mummadi krishnaraja Wodeyar (1794–1868) which served as a lifeline for the city for drinking water and agriculture then was used as a water source for sandalwood oil factory gradually lost its primary purpose. Now it serves as a jogging, walking and nature lovers paradise. It hosts a huge number of birds, bats, butterflies and also is home to Jackals which breed there. As citizens of mysore, it is responsibility of each individual to make sure this beautiful urban lake stays, thrives and flourishes. Thus holding on to the dream of the late king of Mysore.
