Nachi Falls (那智滝 Nachi no Taki) in Nachikatsuura, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, is one of the best-known waterfalls in Japan. With a drop of 133 meters (and 13 meters wide),[1] it is the country's tallest water fall with single uninterrupted drop; however, the tallest waterfalls with multiple drops in Japan are Hannoki Falls, at 497 m (seasonal), and Shōmyō Falls, at 350m (year round).
Kumano Nachi Taisha (熊野那智大社) is a Shinto shrine and part of the UNESCO-designated World Heritage Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range of Japan. The Kumano Kodō route connects it to other sites under the same classification, which are primarily located in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. The four sites on the route, classified as pilgrimage destinations and World Heritage Sites, are: 1) Nachi Taisha; 2) Hongū Taisha; 3) Hayatama Taisha; 4) Koya-san.

Setouchi, Japan's Eastern Route
Episode 2: Eat beef in Kobe, dip in the hot springs (onsen) of Arima, sail the crystal clear waters of the Seto Sea or see a Samurai sword handcrafted in Okayama--these are just some of the experiences you can have exploring Setouchi's Eastern Route. Since this region has so much to offer, it helps to break it down your travels by routes. We explored the Eastern route and I was astounded by how different and memorable each day was!
Besides the highlights above, I also loved staying at a 300 year old ryokan in the historical town of Kurashiki. And don't forget the food! We stopped in Kobe to sample the world famous Kobe Beef and then to the neighborhood of Nada, to see how Sake is produced and sample some of Japan's favorite drink.

JAPAN AUTUMN 2018 TRIP DAY 4 NACHI FALLS WAKAYAMA
From Nara we went to Kushimoto and stayed at Wakayama Resort that famous with the Hashiguiiwa Rocks 橋杭岩 the mysterious, natural work of art, featuring a straight line of large and small unusually shaped rocks, at seaside behind the resort. The next morning we continued our trip to Nachisan by bus from Kii Katsuura.

The Toka Shinto Service adalah salah satu upacara spesial di kuil Sumiyoshitaisya yang biasanya diadakan pada bulan Januari, upacara ini di maksudkan untuk menyambut tahun baru, dan merupakan salah satu kepercayaan dari agama Shinto yang merupakan agama yang memang berasal dari jepang.
Pada saat tersebut biasanya kuil menjadi lebih hidup dan ramai karena di padati dengan banyaknya penganut agama Shinto atau pun pengunjung yang memang sengaja datang untuk menyaksikan upacara tersebut, seperti saya.
Pada upacara ini, Shinto Priests menyamar sebagai Fuku-no-kami atau dewa-dewa keberuntungan di Tahun Baru dengan membawa persembahan kue mochi ke hadapan para dewa.
Setelah ini, pemain wanita kagura akan memimpin tarian Shirabyoshi dan Kumano.
Setelah melewati beberapa rangkaian upacara tersebut, mochi yang sudah di doakan ini akan di bagikan kepada para pengunjung, dan itu salah satu moment yang sangat di tunggu tunggu apa lagi oleh para penganutnya.
Kue mochi itu sering di sebut “Fuku No Mochi” atau kue mochi yang memberi keberuntungan.
Kue mochi itu di bagikan dengan cara di lempar kepada para pengunjung dan siapa pun yang mendapat kan ya di percaya akan mendapatkan keberuntungan sepanjang tahun.

Hiking in Japan, Mt Hachigyogatake and Mt Misen, Nara Prefecture
Hiking in Japan, Mt Hachigyogatake and Mt Misen, Nara prefecture, Yoshino Kumono national park. 19-20 May 2018 with overnight stay at mountain Lodge on Mount Misen. Mount Hachigyogatake also known as Mount Hakkyō.
Mt. Hachigyogatake is one of the Omine mountains (sacred mountain) in Nara prefecture. With a height of 1914.9 metres. It is the highest mountain in Kinki area and Nara Prefecture.
Mt. Misen is also one of the Omine Mountains and the height is 1895 metres. There is Misen mountain lodge at the top of it where Crown Prince Naruhito stayed once.
Hiking route:
19th May 2018.
Tenkawakawai - Tochiotsuji ( there was a refuge hut, but it was broken and turned over by the wind) - Okamidaira refuge hut ( we had a break there) - Misen mountain lodge ( we stayed here one night with breakfast it cost us 8000 yen each.
20th May 2018:
Misen mountain lodge - Mt. Hachigyogatake - Misen mountain lodge - Benten Forest - west entrance tunnel for car park.
