A Walk Around Nakanoike Ryokuchi Park, Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture | The Real Japan | HD
In this short film, we take a relaxing stroll through the suburbs of Ashiya to Nakanoike Ryokuchi Park.
Ashiya is our home when we are in Japan. It is in Hyogo Prefecture, (on the main island of Honshu) close to Kobe, and not far from Kyoto and Osaka.
Nakanoike Ryokuchi Park is a modest municipal park built around a pond, where ducks, koi card and turtles make their homes.
We walk along the street, past the large houses, then enter the park from the northern entrance. Down the steps, we come to a sign explaining the various types of fish you can expect to see in the pond.
It was a sunny, warm spring day, so we decided to walk here with my wife's parents. It was peaceful and enjoyable.

【4K】Christmas Eve at Shibuya city
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
After work on Christmas Eve I decided to check Shibuya for any events. I started from Ebisu garden lights, walked through Ebisu station, got to new Google's building Shibuya Stream with some animation and finally to Scramble Square. Unfortunately there was nothing unusual there, except usual lines to KFC, so I went home.

今宮戎神社で「本えびす」
１０日、商売繁盛の神様「えべっさん」で親しまれている今宮戎神社（大阪市浪速区）で「本えびす」を向かえ、大勢の参拝客で賑わった。
「商売繁盛、笹もってこい」のお囃子が流れる中、境内には福笹を手にした人たちが、縁起物を求める姿が見られた。十日戎は１１日の「残り福」で幕を閉じる。

This suite was composed of my memories from the summer of 2004. When summer is around the corner, I feel so anxious, and when summer is ending, I feel so melancholic. Although summer comes every year, I feel this way because, once one summer goes by, I can never experience that summer again. The summer of 2004 commenced as the sun rises to start the day. The weather was so immaculate, that being outside, I felt like I was flying through the bright blue skies. It was July 19th, my best friend and I spent the day driving through the mountains and swimming in ravines - that was one of my most memorable birthdays. The sun rays were sparkling against the clear, soothing river. The solitary shrine (jinja) stood tall amongst the sounds of the cicada, as the sunset glistened through the trees -- this mystical moment has been deeply etched in my heart. That summer concluded as the sun sets to end the day.
この組曲は2004年の僕の夏の記憶です。夏の前になると待ち遠しくなり、終わりになると寂しくなる。毎年やってくるのに寂しくなるのは、そこでさよならすればもう二度とその夏には逢えないから。その夏は朝日の様に幕を開けました。快晴で空が真っ青な日に走り回れば、それは空を駆けているようでした。その夏の7月19日に親友たちと山奥の渓谷へ行き泳いだりした日、それは僕の人生の中で最も幸せな誕生日でした。澄んだ川の水に太陽の光が当たりとても輝いていました。ヒグラシの鳴く神社、夕焼けが木々の間から差している様は神秘的で心に深く響いてきます。そして、夏は夕陽のように幕を閉じました。
