Mitarai is a really interesting place. it’s super traditional and was just recently announced as a Japanese Heritage Site. Mitarai is one of those towns where if you want to experience something a little more authentic in Japan or away from the bigger cities, and a great place to take some amazing photos, it’s one of those places to check out.
■Access to CLAYTON BAY HOTEL
Kure is really close to Hiroshima City. It only takes about 40 minutes by bus.
■Access to Mitarai
you can get here by renting a car. If you catch a bus from Kure City station it’s pretty easy to get here. And there may even be options to take a boat or a ferry to come up here as well.

Their signature ramen, that comes with chicken chashu slices, black fungus and spring onion. Flavourful broth but something on the lighter side. Don’t forget to try their Chicken Gyoza with Salted Egg Sauce. A great combination and the juicy Gyoza fillings will keep you wanting more.

Hotel is located next to the JR Kure Station. It is easily accessible to Hiroshima by train or car.
Kure is scenic city of the sea and the mountains, tourist can easily go to sightseeing points of city from the hotel.
The hotel is a 14-storey tall building in reddish brown colour.
The hotel has a number of restaurants to choose from including Japanese and
western menus.
The lobby is small in size but it has a welcoming atmosphere.
The rooms are medium in size and they are all in good condition and comfortably
equipped offering a warm atmosphere.
1 km to the nearest station (kure), 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 60 kms to the nearest airport (hiroshima).
