Godzilla spotting at Kurihama Flower Park in Yokosuka!
Godzilla has been spotted throughout Japan, but this Godzilla is one of the many slides Kurihama Flower Park has at its Adventure World. In addition to showcasing beautiful seasonal flowers, this park also has lots of fun play areas, an herb garden, a mineral foot bath and some of the most amazing floral soft ice cream flavors. Admission is free and pets are allowed everywhere except the herbal garden area. It's a lovely place to relax among nature and have some fun with Godzilla!

On May 5 Japanese celebrate Children's day by stringing huge carp-shaped streamers across rivers or outside the house.
I went for my first time to Kurihama Flower Park, where many colorful Koi fish streamers were beautifuly flying before our eyes. It was magical!

くりはま花の国 - Kurihama Flower Park, Yokosuka
Kurihama Flower Park is well known for its beautiful varieties of flowers. Kurihama Flower Park has a great kids play land just a short walk from the park entrance. If you don't like walking, there is a 'road train. The playland has ropes, zipline, logs, slides, roller slides, and Godzilla Slide.
くりはま花の国は、神奈川県横須賀市神明町にある横須賀市立の都市公園である。都市計画に基づく名称は、久里浜緑地。園内には色とりどりの花が咲く庭園やスポーツ施設、レストランなどが営業している。入園は無料。在日アメリカ軍の倉庫があった土地を返還後に横須賀市が「久里浜緑地」として整備した。今では年間の観光客が50万人を超える久里浜地区の一大観光スポットとなった。園内は広いうえに高低差があり徒歩での移動は大変である。そのため機関車を模した形をした「フラワートレイン」があり、それを使うことによって楽に移動できる。

Travel Japan: Aden waiting for train at Kurihama Flower Park. This is a rather large botanical garden near Yokosuka city in Kanagawa Japan, about 1.5 hours away from Tokto. Kurihama is located on the Miura penesula with one side facing tokto bay and the other facing the Pacific Ocean.
