On 24 Sep., 2011, I measured radiation in a front of a gate of BRIDGESTONE
Tochigi plant, Nasushiobara city, Tochigi pref. Japan, Along the national
road ROUTE 4. 90 or 95 km from Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power plant.
The monitor indicates 0.47 micro Sievert per hour in air at chest hight,
5.55 on mud at road side, ground level.
Measuring instrument is made of Ukraine, ECOTEST MKS-05.

The winter season ends, but one last time before that, we head to the mountins again. Our destination is Nasu Shiobara in the Tochigi prefecture.
I'll take you with me to Hunter Mountain and show you one of my favorite hotels afterwards in a really calm and secluded area.

On 11 Sep., 2011, I measured radiation in a front yard of Futarasan Shrine, World Heritage NIKKO, Nikko city, Tochigi pref. Japan
The monitor indicates 0.24 micro Sievert per hour in air at chest hight,
1.483 on mud at ground level, in a side gutter.
Measuring instrument is made of Ukraine, ECOTEST MKS-05.
10.02 microSv/h, Nasushiobara, Rice field area, roadside sand
On 10 Dec 2011, I measured radiation in a rice field area of Nasushiobara city, Tochigi pref. Japan.
The monitorinig place is 95 km from Fukushima Nuclear power plant.
And the located west part of the city, along HOUKIGAWA river.
The monitor indicates 0.99 micro Sievert per hour in air at chest hight, 10.02 on road side sand, ground level.
Tochigi pref press that there is no radioactive contaminated rice is detected from the whole Tochigi pref.
Measuring instrument is made of Ukraine, ECOTEST MKS-05.
