Plot:
Sawatari Kaede is a lonely high school girl who lost her parents when she was a child. On her way home from school one day, a black cat suddenly appears and leads her to a house with the words “Sumikko Gohan” written on the door. It is a communal kitchen where people come together to enjoy meals despite their troubles. Kaede begins to perceive the meaning of living through the kindness and suffering of these people and the delicious food. However, a crisis soon threatens the existence of this communal kitchen.

It was a public holiday so we rented a car, picked up some friends, and drove off to #Jogashima.
It wasn't that far so it was perfect to go on a short notice. We stopped by #Miura beach as well to appreciate the sun as it was closing in on winter already.

Snorkelling off Ishigaki
May 5, 2011: We went snorkelling with the Umicoza company off Kabira Bay on Ishigaki Island. We rented an underwater camera as our was being moody and i took this video. (Spot the jelly.)
The wild horses of Yonaguni, Okinawa, Japan
The remote island of Yonaguni is a wild place. Battered by typhoons and harsh weather its coastlines are dramatic and beautiful. Known mainly for diving and it's unusual underwater formations, the island is also home to many wild horses.
The wild horses on Yonaguni island are quite small in stature, not much bigger then a pony, they are very friendly and calm. often found grazing on the grass that lines the tops of cliffs.
