I'd seen this park in a magazine years ago and then forgot about it! I don't know what sparked my memory, but we finally went to the Kurume Cycle Family Park! It's a great place to take your kids!
Or maybe even a date if you're into cycling. You can go on the double tricycle and snuggle up! :)

One Hundred Seventy-Seventh Episode: The Joy and Pain of the Bike Park
We went back to the Kurume Family Bike Park for the second time on Mother's Day, the first for Lilya and had a mostly good time! We tried out a few things we didn't last time like the mini golf and the BMX trail, which is what lead to most of the pain! I crashed rather spectacularly, and unfortunately there wasn't a camera going at the time!

Canada Special2 Seventh Episode: Pacific Mall
We went to the Pacific Mall for the second time ever. It was not as good as I remember it being 8 years ago! Too bad! The Chinese Supermarket is great though! I recommend going once if you've never been, but if you go on a weekend, DON'T drive if you can, or at least get there early! Parking is a nightmare!

One Hundred Sixteenth Episode: Itoshima. Shiraito Falls and the Beach
At the beginning of May in 2012 we took the family out to Itoshima located to the west of Fukuoka City. We went to Shiraito Falls and fished for Yamame (which were surprisingly delicious), did the somen flowing down the bamboo halfpipe thing (the name escapes me at the moment even though I just edited the video) and went and played on a beach. No idea what the beach's name is! :) It was a good day, and I really want to go back again once the weather warms up! There's more to see in Itoshima!

Twenty-fourth Episode: Not So Grand Opening
A brand new Aeon Mall opened in Oomuta in Fukuoka Prefecture. Unfortunately the grand opening was exactly 1 week after the earthquakes and tsunami devastated Northern Japan. I don't know if it was because of the disaster, or because the mall opened in Oomuta, but it wasn't that grand an opening.

One Hundred Eighth Episode: Tsunoshima Sea Urchin Soy Sauce
This is the Sea Urchin (uni) soy sauce that my wife bought on our camping trip to Tsunoshima last summer.
It's all Nushgala's fault! I never would have done this video if she hadn't commented that I had to! Oh well. I did it, and 2 and a half hours later I have intense stomach pain! BLEAAAAGH! Never again! I will still take requests though! :)

Travelling with kids: Seoul Kyushu 2018 full video
Our blissful family trip covering Seoul, Busan and the half part of Kyushu in 2 weeks. We were amazed by the neon light of Myeongdong to the steamy bath of Yufuin Onsen. We had so much fun! Check out how we enjoyed the trip with 2 toddlers aged 4 and 2.

Unexpected School Holiday - I Live in Japan Mini 56
10 out of 16 of Lilya's classmates are out with influenza, which triggers and automatic 3 day holiday for the entire class! I've never seen anything like this in Canada as far as I can remember!
