Basic menagerie with outdoor exhibits of elephants, crocodiles, large birds & other animals
The Kurumbapatti Zoological Park is situated on a sprawling 11.5 hectares of reserve forest land, at the foothills of Shervaroyan Hills and developed at a cost of Rs. 10 crore.
From Salem:
Take the route to Hasthampatti, in the Roundana take left and proceed to Yercaud road. After 3kms, near gorimedu Roundana take left which will proceed to the zoo (5kms roughly from there).
From Yercaud:
From Yercaud to Salem at the end of Ghat road, a small diversion is there at right (100m before Ganesh temple) which will take you to the zoo.

It was set up in 1981 as a small museum and was later extended.
