It is said that Sauna has many positive effects to the human fysiology.
There is Sauna almost every building in Finland.
It is estimated that there are over 2 million Saunas in Finland.
But there are only (about) 5,4 million people in Finland (2015).
This is the only public Black Sauna/Smoke Sauna in the Helsinki Region, Finland (2015).

HOW TO GET THERE?
It is close to the Helsinki Center (about 26km). You will get there easily from Helsinki city next to main railway station located bus station with bus number 739 or 738K. (Tell the driver that you are going to the Kuusijärvi. He will tell you when it is right time to get off the bus).

Family trip to Kuusijärvi recreational area in Finland/// One brave cat and curious ducks
This time we want to show you one of our most favourite places in the capital area of Finland -Kuusijärvi. It is a small lake next to Siiponkorpi National Park in Vantaa city. We go there at least once a month for a walk around the lake.
If your family would like to join us there for a walk, let us know in the comments below. And if you have more suggestion about nature areas around capital area, please let us know as well!
TRANSPORTATION
Kuusijärvi is a very accessible and easy to get to by car or bus. Kuusijärvi has a large parking area and the nearest bus stop is very close.

FOOD
There is a cafe that serves lunch during the week and soup lunch on weekends. Vegan options were not detected.
SAUNA
Kuusijärvi has the only public Smoke Saunas within the greater Helsinki Metropolitan area. All smoke saunas are open all year. There is also an electric sauna.
