The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre: Where culture thrives
The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, situated along the Yukon River in the city of Whitehorse, Yukon, showcases the arts and culture of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation. The cultural centre is the largest meeting place in Whitehorse. It is used by both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples for large gatherings, conventions and weddings.

The Healing Totem in Whitehorse, Yukon
A Healing Totem being carved in Whitehorse, Yukon, at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre, to commemorate those that died and also, survived the Indian Residential Schools system in BC and the Yukon. Wayne Price from Haines, Alaska is the team leader.

Kwanlin Dün First Nation is a self-governing First Nation whose Traditional Territory lies in the area of the City of Whitehorse, Yukon.
Kwanlin Dün is widely recognized for its leadership and success in developing and implementing a unique First Nation cultural-and-land-based approach to its drug and alcohol treatment program at Jackson Lake Healing Camp located near Whitehorse.

The Yukon Torch visits the Kwanlin Dun First Nation, Whitehorse, Yukon on January 9, 2007 as part of the Canada Winter Games Pan Northern Torch Relay. The torch was carved by Shane Wilson from caribou antler. The 2010 Vancouver Olympic Organizing Committee (VANOC) was represented at this relay. (APTN footage)
