入場料は500円で、門司港周辺の歴史にまつわる人形が展示されています。
併設されている「レトロ通り」は、約100年前の門司を再現したジオラマセットの中に土産物店があります。
レトロ通りは入場無料、どこか懐かしさを感じる場所です。
Moji The Straits Museum, is a great spot overlooking the Port of Moji.
Admission fee is 500 yen, dolls concerning the history of Moji peripheral is on display.
Is annexed to retro street, there is a souvenir shop in the diorama set that reproduces the Moji of about 100 years ago.
Free admission, is a place where you feel some nostalgia retro street.

On this first part of our 2 week trip, the wife and I quickly explore some bits of Dazaifu and Mojiko in Fukuoka. Some stops include the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, the former Moji Mitsui Club and the Kyushu Railway History Museum.
While I hope my viewers may find these videos at least interesting, it’s more of my way of trying to document our yearly holiday for my wife and I. ☺️

The Beautiful Mojiko Retro in Kitakyushu 美しき門司港レトロ in 北九州
After visiting Mimusubi Shrine, we drove over to Mojiko Retro. This port has been around since the beginning of the Meiji Era and has many historical buildings and great sights. It reminds me a lot of the port of Yokohama. I cannot forget to mention the delicious food that Mojiko Retro has to offer. The Kanmon Strait is famous for its Fugu (pufferfish). Everything I sampled was excellent, my first time in Mojiko will be unforgettable. The next episode will be dedicated to Yaki Curry (baked curry). Even though we might have gone a different path and ate Kawara Soba had she not let me taste that Yaki Curry Tempura.
I can't wait for the next video. Let's go get some baked curry.
