Mission Texas-Haunted House on Hill- La Lomita Area
(Next to the La Lomita Church)This video is a raw video of us walking through the house on the hill in Mission Texas. To my understanding it is no longer there. My friend recording is 6'2 holding the camera to his view. I am several paces behind him almost the entire time. There's two guys that are holding the flashlights. We met them this night. Took them some whataburger & said our thanks for the tour. We were mindful & respectful for the property. Now, you can come up with your own conclusions but we captured some wierd sounds. Sorry about the quality this was recorded in 2008 or late 2007. We were not experts just teens at the time exploring a spooky cool building. We curse so excuse the language. Also leave some comments and name the times you might hear something! Below is a list of what we asked ourselves what the heck was that when we played the video back. Also I got dizzy watching it again so a heads up!
:56 - Female Sigh, at first I thought it was me but I am foot shorter than my friend and he had the camera next to his face. Granted I was standing behind him. Weird I guess?
1:16 - female blew into mic?
14:31ish - a soft woman scream & some noise?
14:35 - Woman Scream This can be heard better with headphones.
14:42ish Sounds like a car is passing overhead and a weird gas mask exhale lol Mind you we are on a hill and away from any roads. located next to a crops and nothing else. No highways of anything. Also we are in the basement at this time.
Mission,Tx.-Capilla De La Lomita ON THE BORDER
This is Historic site will fall in the no mans land behind the new border wall and be lost to the ages forever. It is wrong to allow the loss of these locations. I was awed at this simple structure when I visited.

bicycle ride from Madero, Texas to the la lomita chapel Mission Texas

Mission, TX 78572
La Lomita (the hillock) was first built in 1865 by Rene Guyard, a French merchant of Reynosa, who had purchased the land in 1845. Guyard left this site and porciones 55 and 57 to the Oblate priests in 1871. La Lomita became an important site for the Calvary of Christ, the Oblate missionaries who rode up and down the Rio Grande Valley visiting widely separated Catholic churches, baptizing newborns, performing marriage ceremonies and blessing the dead.
Church records indicate that La Lomita was rebuilt in 1899 with stones carved from the hill it was built on by the Rev. Fr. F. Bugnard, O.M.I., the Rev. Fr. R. Pescheur and two Oblate brothers. Other buildings, including a rectory and livery stable, were added at this time to the La Lomita area. Records indicate that La Lomita has been replaced at least twice, first in 1899 and again in the 1920s, and repaired in 1937 by neighboring Catholic women. When the City of Mission, Texas was founded in 1908, the city was named “Mission” in honor of La Lomita Chapel. Now, La Lomita Chapel is a religious shrine and a favorite site of historians that provides a glimpse into an important part of the history of Mission and South Texas in general.

Haunted Starr County
**update** Annotations are not working on this video, so if you can't spot where I see the apparition, keep an eye on the lower right of the video @ 0:13 and 1:46 , upper middle @ 1:03 and 2:00 (same time you hear what sounds like a cough. Or was it the ghost appearing?)
This video was taken in historic downtown Rio Grande City, Texas at the La Borde House hotel. As part of a ghost tour, we were taken into what is known as The Texian room in the hotel. My camera was on because I was hoping to use it to record some EVP, which was kind of foolish considering the number of people in the room and all the chatter, although that should explain to you why most of this video is dark.
However, in doing so, I capture what appears to be the face of a female apparition at the same moment someone's camera flash goes off. I am unsure if what I captured could have been one of the other guests, but we were so crowded in that room, standing almost shoulder to shoulder, that I have to ask: Where are the faces of the others then? If you can identify this person as one of the guests that was there with us that night, please let me know.
One of my reasons for believing that this might actually be an apparition is because this was the only room in the hotel where I actually felt a very heavy presence. I did not feel this way in what is claimed to be the most haunted room of the hotel, the Red Room. That is why you hear me asking in the beginning if this was the Red Room. I had heard that it was the most haunted room in the hotel, so when I started to feel unwell, I thought that's where we were. You also hear me asking about the capacity in the room. There were so many people crammed into the room that it felt like the floor was going to give out under all the weight. Around that time, I felt like something was trying to possess me and the battery to my camera ran out. When we entered the other room, I tried turning on my camera again, and it turned on but with a very drained battery.
Other activity that night: In one of the other rooms, we heard the loud banging of a door (also caught on video), but we were unable to verify if it could have been one of the other guests playing a trick on us.
In another room, I caught what appeared to be a little boy's reflection as he stared into a tv that was in the the room.
In the Red Room, my video camera for some reason was recording very blurry. However, I suspect that that had to do with the lighting in the room, as they had a red neon light to give accent to the Red Room.
About the La Borde Hotel:
There are rumors of suicides and murders and death in the hotel. The most famous being of a girl who committed suicide and who's haunting is most experienced by the guests who have stayed the night.
The hotel was built in 1899. It is located one block from the Rio Grande river and Mexico. It was originally the home of Francoise La Borde. It also served as a travelers' way-station for many years.
In April 1982, the historic La Borde House opened as a luxurious, full-service hotel.

American Orange Trailer (Mission, Texas)
In AMERICAN ORANGE, a filmmaker with a law degree investigates and chronicles the devastating, toxic poisoning of four generations of Latinos in Mission, Texas. Here, over 30 chemical companies produced multiple deadly chemicals at the Helena Chemical Plant. Among them were Agent Orange and 8 others which the United Nations have hailed a part of the Dirty Dozen - labeling them as the world's most dangerous chemicals. Although this town has been mysteriously overlooked by the environmentally conscious radar of America, environmental groups from India have visited Helena to personally confirm the reports of outrageous toxicity. This home of the most contaminated man on the planet is also coincidentally a strong producer of citrus - a contributor to the approximately 220 tons of citrus that Texas gives our nation every year.
