LA PAZ BOLIVIA [GRAND TOUR OF SOUTH AMERICA] 4K
La Paz Bolivia is the setting for this episode as we continue our Grand Tour of South America.
We continue to explore La Paz the capital of Bolivia, this time visiting the fantastic cable car system, then out towards the lunar landscape of Moon Valley, finally returning to La Paz centre and taking in the Witches Market.
Mi Teleferico has revolutionised transport in La Paz, the $700 million program has taken around 5 years to build and is still expanding. A tourist attraction in it's own right showing tourists a birds eye view of the incredible sprawling city of La Paz.
Next we ventured slightly out of the city to Moon Valley. A unique area featuring what has been described as a lunar landscape.
Strange rock structures are everywhere, with no two looking the same. This geological wonderland shows a contoured landscape, one of uneveness yet one with so much beauty in it's sculpture and form.
Finally, La Paz offers many attractions but nothing quite like the hocus pocus of the Witches Market. A multitude of potions and lotions await, so time to pull out your cauldron, clean down the broom for a flight of fantasy and bewildering potions.
La Paz, Bolivia is a fantastic city, it's edginess is there for everyone to feel, and gives you something completely different to other South American countries.

Bolivia, a Portrait. Part One: La Paz
I took this video on a recent trip to Bolivia and this is the first of three parts. This is an improved version of the part one I already uploaded. The main difference, which is VERY visible, is that I have color-corrected the footage, and you can see what a difference it makes! I hope you enjoy this, and I will be posting more soon.

Sky High La Paz, Bolivia Close Up - Bolivia Tourism
La Paz, Bolivia, situated at over 13,000 feet above sea level, is the second highest city in the world, after Potosí, also in Bolivia. La Paz is the seat of two of Bolivia's government branches, the executive branch and legislative branch, leading many to believe that La Paz is Bolivia's capital city. However, Bolivia's constitutional capital is actually Sucre, where the judicial branch remains.
La Paz, Bolivia is a striking and unusual city. It is located near Lake Titicaca, high in the Andes, Tiahuanaco, and other important archeological sites. The contrast between historic and ultra-modern in this growing city is something you will not easily forget.
