Thyssen escalators @ Rinascente Department Store in Florence, Italy
These escalators were nice with the black handrails, entry and no entry signals, and a safety rule near the glass. IDLift3000, what do you think of these escalators?

EXPLORING MILAN: The luxurious LA RINASCENTE SHOPPING CENTRE (ITALY) ????️
SUBSCRIBE: - The luxurious La Rinascente shopping centre, Milan (Italy)! Let's go for a tour inside the magnificent La Rinascente shopping centre in the beautiful city of Milan (Italy). Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. Milan, a metropolis in Italy's northern Lombardy region, is a global capital of fashion and design. Home to the national stock exchange, it’s a financial hub also known for its high-end dining and shopping. The Gothic Duomo di Milano cathedral and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, housing Leonardo da Vinci’s fresco “The Last Supper,” testify to centuries of art and culture.
Italy, a European country with a long Mediterranean coastline, has left a powerful mark on Western culture and cuisine. Its capital, Rome, is home to the Vatican as well as landmark art and ancient ruins. Other major cities include Florence, with Renaissance masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s David and Brunelleschi's Duomo; Venice, the city of canals; and Milan, Italy’s fashion capital.

FEATURED IN THIS VIDEO:
How to Get into the City:
- From Pisa Airport (Gallilei Gallileo Intl Airport): Take the Pisamover to Pisa Centrale Station, and buy a ticket to Florence (Santa Maria Novella Station)
- From Florence Airport (Peretola)
Cheapest option is the new Tram from T2 to Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence.
Or just hop in a cab)
How to Skip The Lines:
(VERY IMPORTANT TO AVOID SPENDING HOURS IN LINES!)
- The most user friendly website for reserving skip the line reserved ticket times (for the Uffizi Gallery and the Academia Gallery (Michelangelo's David) is:
(But you’ll pay more of a fee…but it is user friendly)
- The official ticketing website for the Uffizi Gallery and The David is B-ticket:
(Less user-friendly, but a cheaper ticket price…and it’s not that hard to figure it out)
- The official site for reserving a climb for the Duomo is here (this will also include entrance into all of the attractions of the Duomo):
- You can also call to book a time at the Uffizi and David by calling this number from a US phone:
011-39-055-294-883
- Or this number from an Italian phone:
055-294-883
You can also sometimes book through your hotel (if you’re staying at a hotel)
Or go with a small group tour like ArtVivia (more expensive, but highly recommended):
Food:
- All’Antico Vinaio
- Gustapizza
- Le Volpi e L’Uva
- Trattoria Mario
- Trattoria Za Za
- Zeb

Gelato:

- Medici Chapel (also the family tomb for the Medici)
Parks/Nature:
- Boboli Gardens (Beautiful impressive huge park)

- la Rinascente (4th floor…up the green stairs)
- Rooftop bar of the Westin Excelsior

Rinascente Outside Inside - Video Blog by Simona Cochi The Italian Way from Milan
My Youtube Channel Manifesto
I’ve just get back in Milan after a year and a half abroad.
During my trip I’ve been researching about the different lifestyle trends and business dynamics in the various European fashion and design districts.
Dublin, London, Bicester, Oxforord, Mancester, Copenhagen, Vienna and Ibiza inspired me each one of them in a different way.
I grab a camera at the first shopping mall on the way and I decided to create a Vblog on Youtube.
I'll do my videos in English, Italian and from time to time in Chinese! (with someone help). I will be struggling to perform my best english skills!
Anyhow I want to express myself in this global language.
My main goal is to strengthen and use foreign contacts to support and make foreing people better understand the alchemy of Italian style and its local and international protagonists.
The aim of my vblog is to explain with my reportage how Fashion, Design and Lifestyle are so important to develop and animate the two districts: Quadrilatero and Gae Aulenti.
I will be covering some of the iconic spots of Milan along with Fashion and Design weeks.
We will discover together the mechanisms and concepts about the Entertainment Design and the New Entertainment Retail. I hope you will enjoy it.
p.s. as a Vblogger I am a beginner!
Thank you
Simona Cochi
