Lady Elizabeth to view of Two Sisters Mountain in 7 minutes.
The PR & Media Office took their new GoPro out for a spin last week and we drove from the Lady Elizabeth shipwreck to the turn off which takes you to Two Sisters Mountain. The drive normally takes about 15 minutes, however we've sped it up to take about 7 minutes.

The Lady Elizabeth Emerges
This video clip is from a zodiac cruise on Port Stanley on 12/31/2010. The ship emerging from the misty fog is the Lady Elizabeth.
Wreck Dive on the Lady Elizabeth
Site description
The wreck lies in 7 metres of water and displays relative structural integrity. The vessel first settled on its starboard side. The port side then collapsed down onto the decking while the starboard side collapsed outward onto the sand.
The port side framing is shown lying across the deck frames while on the starboard side of the vessel the frames are not covered and are therefore more distinguishable. The inside of the starboard hull framing is uppermost and is situated on the outer edge of the decking. This is indicated by the deck frames themselves and the position of bollards both fore and aft. Due to the slope of the wreck both the windlass near the bow and the deck winch near the mainmast step have slipped outwards from their original position.

ships were sunk by Argentina in the Falklands War.These haunting images show the wrecks of three Royal Navy ships sunk in the Falklands War and which are the final resting places for 42 British servicemen. The remains of HMS Coventry, HMS Antelope and her sister ship HMS Ardent have been captured using sonar images taken by the survey vessel HMS Enterprise. The wrecks have been scanned to mark the 35th anniversary year of the conflict and the new images will be used to update charts used by fellow ships.

Derelict Boat In The Falklands
Back to the ship
After a day playing with the penguins at Sparrow Cove, in the Falkland Islands, we boarded the tender for the return tip to the boat. The wind had picked up at least 20+ MPH and the sea was running quite a bit higher. we found out that the ship had canceled all remaining trips to the island due to the weather. It was one exciting ride back! Better than any amusement park ride we had been on. And, it sure made us decide that we did NOT intend to being our boat down here.

Wreck of the Falkland
A dive on an unidentified wreck of a large sailing vessel at Scilly. Moving from midships around the bow section in a Depth of 45 meters. We are only the second divers to relocate and visit it. I need to eliminate it in my search for others wrecks in the area-so must go and see it for myself and try to Identify it in doing so. My guess is possibly the Falkland that sank in 1901. Its position is about half a mile north of the Bishop Rock Lighthouse by Flemmings Ledge.

It's 10 weeks into the Falklands War, and two British Harriers find themselves protecting damaged ships. Suddenly, Argentine Skyhawks appear on the horizon and a fight ensues.
